Ephesians 3:17-18 NIV "...I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power…to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ." Survivors of human trafficking and trauma often have firmly rooted destructive beliefs. Some of these beliefs are that they're unloved, dirty, worthless, damaged, or broken. Some also believe that what happened to them was their fault, or that they deserved it. These rooted destructive beliefs are toxic and often paralyze them from healing. At Restoring Oaks, Inc., our goal is to help survivors dig up these toxic roots and replace them with roots of truth, love, and purpose. The theme of our 2024 gala is "Firmly Rooted". Evan Owens, Executive Director of Reboot Recovery, will share where these roots begin and how we can help survivors plant new, life giving roots to help them heal. During the Gala, we will also share a recap of 2023 and some exciting news about where we are heading in 2024 for direct survivor care and community education and advocacy. We will need your help to make this happen and you will know exactly how your donations will help with impact. $70/adults $55/minors (suggested age 16+) Register Now: https://lnkd.in/e6nUf83x Please register by 1/7/24.
