Our concept of the interdisciplinary Center for Astrophysics and Geosciences of Exoplanets (CAGE) is crystallizing. It involves multiple research and educational components: 1. “Geosciences of Exoplanets for Astrophysicists” seminar series. 2. Master of Astrophysics with an exoplanet focus, including courses from the Geosciences Department. 3. Lab experiments with geoscientists to simulate outgassing on exoplanets. 4. “Exoplanets by the Lake” interdisciplinary summer school. 5. Envisioning and influencing future space missions focusing on rocky exoplanets.

🌠 Thrilled to announce my recent publication in Astronomy & Astrophysics: "Impact of Different Approaches for Computing Rotating Stellar Models I. The Solar Metallicity Case." 🔭 This study explores how different methods for including stellar rotation impact the evolution and fate of massive stars. Using the Geneva Stellar Evolution Code, we found significant variations in the evolution based on different rotation treatments, especially in 15 and 60 solar mass models. 💫 Our findings highlight the complexity of stellar evolution and its dependence on rotation, paving the way for more accurate stellar models. #Astronomy #Astrophysics #StellarEvolution #ScienceCommunication Georges Meynet, Sylvia Ekstrom
