💪 This week I celebrated my first anniversary at WEX 😎 and I had a blast. I had the opportunity to join a couple of networking events with my colleagues, celebrate international women's day in the office and complete a great development learning that our new CMO curated for us. During this past year, there have been tough moments and great moments but all have been huge learnings. One of my favourite things, is to confirm that I am surrounded by passionate, smart working, high performing teams that have a customer-centric approach. >>some bits of the curated development learning that I think are very useful reminders: 💎 Time management ⏳ always tailor to your style ✉ Don't check your emails first thing in the morning 📝 Allocate time for everything, including personal stuff! 🎨 Inside out approach - do what feels good for you, on your personality 🎯 Don't focus on your goals - focus on behaviours And I love the recommendation to find a partner to ensure you make time for learning. Those tough moments sometimes don't allow us the time to reflect, continue learning and see what is important for us. For me, time management was becoming a mission impossible at some point and having these reminders is great. Let's continue celebrating! #internationalwomensday2024 #internationalwomensday #mothersday #worldbookday #iwd #LifeAtWEX

🐞Today on #WorldEmojiDay, our chosen emoji is a key part of the Pluribus Global logo. The ladybird carries powerful symbolism across cultures; signifying joy, light, good luck and transformation – values that perfectly capture the spirit of our team and those which are deeply ingrained in our approach. 🐞Just like the ladybird in its metamorphosis, we empower businesses to undergo positive transformations. As the ladybird spreads its wings, our team is passionate about helping businesses to reach new heights, and like a tiny ladybird bringing good luck, we guide them towards success. 🐞The ladybird's ability to navigate vast distances with its delicate wings mirrors Pluribus Global's reach, as we help businesses transcend borders and achieve global success. 🐞Today we celebrate the emoji that represents the very core of Pluribus Global. Which emoji represents your purpose?

🌟 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆! 🌟 "As the Head of Product Management, I still occasionally find myself as the only woman in workshops or meetings. Conveying an alternative perspective is not always easy in such scenarios. But when another woman is present, discussions already flow differently! A critical mass is vital for realizing the positive effects of diversity. Women, as one pillar of diversity, bring in unique perspectives that shed light on different aspects, enriching the conversation. At Walter, Diversity and Inclusion are not just buzzwords. I'm deeply passionate about encouraging more women to explore opportunities in technology. There's a whole world of possibilities awaiting both men and women in this field. To me, working at Walter feels like family, which is why I love to highlight Walter as the employer of choice. For highly specialized, technology-driven companies like ours, conveying our essence to a broader audience can be challenging. Therefore, I actively engage in mentoring sessions with students from the Hochschule Esslingen, guiding them through their career aspirations and showing them the exciting prospects in tech", Mirjam Dreisörner. Here's to embracing diversity, empowering women, and shaping a brighter future together! 💪🚀 Join us in spreading the message of #InspireInclusion worldwide by commenting a heart emoji! #WalterTools #InternationalWomensDay #WomenInTech #Empowerment

I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of SE's newly launched EVP deployment team. #ImpactStartsWithUs - a catchy little phrase that is linked to 6 powerful #values - Inclusion, Mastery, Purpose, Action, Curiosity & Teamwork. I deeply relate with 'Curiosity', one of #SchneiderElectric 's key values which enables the right learning, at the right time, for the right reason, and in the right way. 💡 We love to think deeply and differently, challenging the status quo and learning every day. One of the items on our (packed!) agenda for Cylinder’s annual in-person summit last month was a choice of three activities to get out of the conference room and spend time getting to know each other in an unstructured way. We strategically let people opt into what interested them most, rather than dividing up by team. The first option was kayaking – we were staying right on the marina in San Diego and people were thrilled for an opportunity to get in the water! Our culture committee also requested a giveback activity, since service is a key part of our culture, so the second option was participating in a beach cleanup, to leave our location better than when we found it. For a third activity, we offered a guided painting class overlooking the beautiful palm trees, with all materials provided. I knew from the beginning that I wanted to offer a sedentary activity that would work for folks who didn’t want to worry about movement or physical ability, but also didn’t feel like a lesser option. I’ve been the person who’s been forgotten or left behind when all the “team-building” activities are things I physically can’t do. It sucks to feel like no one thought of you, especially at an event that is supposed to feel celebratory and positive! I didn’t want anyone else to feel that way at the Summit my team worked so hard on. So many people shared how much it meant to have an activity option that felt fun and let them spend time with colleagues they otherwise wouldn’t interact with without compromising their health, safety, or comfort. This sort of #inclusion goes beyond disability – we had individuals freshly back from parental leave, dealing with injuries, and even with a fear of open water. Plus, some people just wanted to paint! When you design for the most marginalized group, you accommodate everyone. -------------------- 💡Like what you read? I’m an HR leader, builder, and community connector, and I love sharing my thoughts and experiences on making work more human for everyone!
