I can't believe it's almost been a month since #RelativityFest, which kicked of a run of exciting AI discussions for me, including running hands on lab experiences at the DKN Anti-corruption and compliance summit in Berlin, deep dives into the use of Relativity aiR for review at the Relativity user group and ended with my first talk at #LegalGeek. Covering GenAI and how it's transforming workflows in the legal industry in only 8 minutes was a new challenge! There were so many threads coming out of these conversations but some key areas that seem to always come up: - This technology is going to be transformative and people are trying to lean in where they can. - How results are validated is going to be key. - GenAI shouldn't just replace entire existing workflows, you should look for opportunities where this fits in well. Also, whilst it might not have been my year for an innovation award, I have to say a huge thank you to my friend and mentor Jon Chan for his nomination video (and support in this crazy exciting industry) which definitely would have won a Roscar (Relativity Oscar if they existed, just saying for next year Relativity....) #ediscovery #legaltech #genai
