Next week the time has come, and we will be at the HANNOVER MESSE from 22.04. to 26.04.2024! Behind the scenes, preparations are already in full swing and the anticipation is growing! There are a lot of plans and highlights that I would love to share here on LinkedIn, but are there to be experienced on site! From exciting guests and important announcements to ideas that will be made tangible. We are also particularly pleased about the location of our stand this year. As some of you may already know, you will find us in the immediate vicinity of the All-Electric-Society-Arena – this year the ZVEI e. V. is presenting the All-Electric-Society-Arena for the first time and is dedicating an independent stand to this important topic. 💡 Why do we need a separate stand for this energy efficiency scenario? Quite simply, because this idea follows a holistic approach and aims to tackle the energy supply of our society in all sectors. In order to bring a climate-neutral society to life, the industry, mobility, energy, infrastructure, and agriculture sectors must be given equal consideration. Each of these sectors will have its own appearance within our stand and can be explored in a creative way. 🏭 Industry: An electrified and digitalized society requires modern, industrial production facilities and energy-efficient manufacturing processes. 🚝 Mobility: Whether electromobility or rail technology — here, too, we need solutions that meet our goals in environmental protection and the responsible use of resources. 🔋 Energy: Fossil fuels must be replaced by renewable energies such as hydropower, wind and solar energy. 🚧 Infrastructure: The aspects of urban planning, short traffic routes and an intelligent supply network must also be taken into account. 🚜 Agriculture: In agriculture, the main focus is on maintaining and promoting soil productivity and minimizing damage to the environment, climate, and biodiversity. 🔋⚡Vienna Electrical Days 2024 This was an amazing opportunity to discuss the future of e-mobility with some great industry experts! Our Head of Marketing at go-e, Ronald Kroke, joined a panel talk featuring Bernhard Kern from ELARIS AG, Andreas Ledermüller from epuls GmbH, and Michal Lagan from Magenta Telekom, expertly moderated by Dejan Jovicevic. 🎤Due to the rainy, stormy weather, the discussion was moved from Heldenplatz to a covered venue where it was recorded. The 30-minute panel talk with insightful content on e-mobility, digitalisation and future mobility trends will soon be available online. It’s always special to be back in Berlin, the city where my German Dream began in 2013 when I first arrived to pursue higher studies. This time, I was here for an incredible event—the intercharge network conference 2024. This was my first time attending, and I must say, there’s nothing quite like it. The scale of the event is unparalleled, uniting policymakers and key industry players from Germany, across the EU, and even the U.S. The panel discussions were particularly enlightening, as they addressed the industry’s pain points and emphasized our collective push towards reliability. The ultimate goal? To make EV charging so standard and reliable that it becomes “boring” because it simply works—every time. Of course, challenges remain, such as the high cost of EVs and, in Germany, the high DC charging prices. However, this conference provided the perfect platform for deep, meaningful discussions on overcoming these hurdles and making emobility more accessible and attractive to the masses. A huge thank you to the organizers and sponsors for such an outstanding, fully-packed event.
