It takes years to build an event that attracts attendees without advertising and top speakers without invitations. It’s only taken the #Polish New Mobility Association 5 years to develop such an event — The New Mobility Congress. The largest expo and industry event of this type in all of Central and Eastern Europe (#CEE), it is one you should not miss if you’re even slightly interested in new mobility, batteries, #climatechange, and #zeroemission transport in general. Visited by 3,500 experts, scientists, opinion leaders, decision-makers, entrepreneurs, engineers, and non-governmental organizations last year, it is expected to attract 5,000 visitors this year. You may remember that last year I built a unique recording studio in my vintage camper, #Opel Blitz, that is planned to be converted into electric and I interviewed some great minds speaking at the congress. It’s been 12 months since then and my Opel hasn’t changed yet . It is still using its old petrol engine (sadly) and I have changed my career path, becoming mayor of my town (happily). That means I will attend the congress as a representative of #localgovernments more than your #CleanTechnica reporter. That is not to say I will leave you dry with news from the event. Rest assured I will do my best to catch some of the speakers to ask them questions about the future of #emobility, #hydrogen, the battery production war between #China and #Europe, growth challenges, and more, like I did last year. I am truly thrilled to be going there and to have this opportunity to discuss the latest trends, future developments, and where we stand today. I am convinced no #EV industry shareholder can afford to miss the New Mobility Congress in Łódź, #Poland.

🔋 The Battery Show Europe 2024 I have attended this event for the #third time. This year, it is significantly larger and very inclusive, with various #countries across the world bringing their #battery businesses to #showcase at the event. I enjoyed it. We, Battery Associates, also presented our offerings at the expo. ✅I met a lot of amazing people in person. Rory Francis Comiskey Digital Transformation Champion from FusionIRX, the giga factory builder, taught me a lot about smart factories and smart manufacturing. The pouch cell which I am holding in the picture was made by our company member Creonia Cells. 📝I enjoyed exploring the Digital Product Passport for batteries with Ankit Singla and Christian-Uwe Rogers-Neu from Engineering Industries eXcellence. I had great conversations with Benjamin Sontag and his team from INGUN Group. It’s always special to be back in Berlin, the city where my German Dream began in 2013 when I first arrived to pursue higher studies. This time, I was here for an incredible event—the intercharge network conference 2024. This was my first time attending, and I must say, there’s nothing quite like it. The scale of the event is unparalleled, uniting policymakers and key industry players from Germany, across the EU, and even the U.S. The panel discussions were particularly enlightening, as they addressed the industry’s pain points and emphasized our collective push towards reliability. The ultimate goal? To make EV charging so standard and reliable that it becomes “boring” because it simply works—every time. Of course, challenges remain, such as the high cost of EVs and, in Germany, the high DC charging prices. However, this conference provided the perfect platform for deep, meaningful discussions on overcoming these hurdles and making emobility more accessible and attractive to the masses. A huge thank you to the organizers and sponsors for such an outstanding, fully-packed event.
