The Atlas V 5 booster variant can deliver nearly 6 tons to LEO at 90 degree inclination. Although we won't see the payload, we can surmise by the size of the fairing/canard.
✍ Sanctity of Contracts at the most!
In an era where space exploration and defense are increasingly intertwined, the delicacy of contracts cannot be overstated.
The agreement established between the U.S. Air Force and SpaceX marks a significant step in leveraging commercial capabilities for military endeavors. Yet, the sanctity of these contracts underscores the critical balance between innovation and security in space ventures.
Managing such crucial contract can become unimaginably cumbersome when a slight loophole causes huge turmoil, and the same can be controlled in just fraction of moment, know how!
Happy to discuss!

This was inevitable and bound to happen sooner or later, few questions pop up… What can we do about it to monitor and protect our Space Assets? Which technologies do we have today that we can use, or combine, to monitor and evaluate potential space threats? LeoLabs is an interesting service to look out for… Capturing high resolution images of Space Assets using Maxar Technologies Non-Earth Imaging (NEI) service can provide us with “Eyes in Space”… much needed insight of what’s out there… can you think of others? 🙃

🚀 Is Space Force's "Resilience" Strategy Enough for Orbital Defense?
New CSPS analysis reveals challenges in the FY 2025 Defense Space Budget. With a constrained top-line, the focus is on proliferation and commercial partnerships. But is this enough?
Key points:
a) $29.6 billion requested for Space Force (3.5% of DoD budget)
b) Emphasis on distributed, resilient space capabilities
c) Integration of commercial satellite services
d) Debate: "Brown Waters" vs "Blue Waters" space strategy
Is resilience truly deterrence?
The space domain needs a credible offensive counterforce capability to ensure robust defense.
What's your take on the future of space defense strategy?

Happy to hear we are deploying more EW assets. EW jammers are an important option needed to provide military options that could be part of a multi layered space deterrence and warfighting force we need. Mobility is also an excellent trait if the reporting is accurate. Not sure these numbers are sufficient to counter everything that China has on orbit (hundreds according to recent Space Force comments) and we should have other nonkinetiic and kinetic options too for credibility of deterrence and war winning capabilities in the minds of adversaries, but.....it's a good start.

🚀 ISAM Wargames Model Dynamic Space Operations!🌌
In an era where satellite re-positioning is vital to national defense, the U.S. Space Force is taking a key first step toward Dynamic Space Operations by investigating on-orbit refueling.
The Space Systems Command's Space Mobility and Logistics team recently conducted "Parallax Rising 2.2," a tabletop exercise exploring the tactical aspects of refueling in contested space environments. This initiative aligns with the mission to enable sustained satellite maneuvering to protect space assets from debris and adversarial threats.
Check out the details of this groundbreaking exercise and the implications for the future of space operations. 🛰️🤝 #SpaceForce#ISAM#NationalDefense

Check out this informative article on the US Military's Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) program. The Space Development Agency (SDA) is set to allocate over $30B in the next decade to establish, maintain and enhance a constellation of 400-600 satellites, creating a significant opportunity for satellite manufacturers, subsystem providers, launch providers, and more. This initiative is driving both technical and commercial innovation in the industry.
