What's next in sustainability? My friend asked me this question the other day. For me, it's health & wellbeing. We're slowly waking up. To the disconnection we have to our planet & people. How else could we destroy it & each other? I've come to realize that working with sustainability & working with purpose will only make a true difference if we are connected to ourselves. That is the foundation for being connected to the earth & each other. It's absolutely necessary that our initiatives are holistic & have a focus on health. Such as implementing a health & wellbeing program including education on mental health, stress, movement, volunteering days with environmental & social organizations. It's about broadening our horizon beyond our daily interactions with our screens.

Yesterday was Earth Day, and it's worth celebrating. 🎉 • It's a chance to show your commitment • Everyone's paying more attention, from colleagues to the media • The collective noise adds up. What message would it send it it went off not with a bang, but with a whimper? But it can also be frustrating. A rush of attention and then... what? • Sustainability teams often put a huge amount of work into Earth Day • But the wider business moves on quickly. • It's hard to maintain people's interest, to keep momentum going. So let's hear it for 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆™.
