Cheating the Death Test Australian caregiver Bronnie Ware provided palliative care for those who went home to die. During her time with her patients, Bronnie noted recurring themes when discussions turned to the topic of regret. The five that consistently emerged are the basis of her book (The Top Five Regrets of the Dying) and continued work in helping others live a life free of regrets. When you read through them, it is easy to see why they struck a universal chord. Her words serve as a timeless reminder to align our Path to what truly matters. Consider these answers to an exam you have yet to take. An invaluable cheat sheet to a pivotal moment in the inevitable future: 1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me. *This was the most common regret of all. 2. I wish I hadn’t worked so hard. 3. I wish I had the courage to express my feelings. 4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends. 5. I wish that I had let myself be happier. Ask yourself in this moment, “Where am I headed?”. If the answer leads to one or more of the regrets above, now is the best time to choose your own Path and transcend the grind. REF: https://lnkd.in/dXUMhAY Photo: Sunrise on Mt. Kilimanjaro

Many caregivers experience burnout , which can lead to fatigue, anxiety, and depression due to the emotional and physical demands of their role. This can lead to feeling such as: 1. Anxiety or fear: If you do something wrong, it will harm someone within your care. 2. Anger or frustration: The person within your care doesn’t accept, want or appreciate the care you’re providing. 3. Guilt: Believing taking care of yourself is less important than caring for the person in your charge. You might feel bad doing things to care for yourself because they benefit you and not others. At Pills2Me (Techstars NYC ‘22), we understand the critical need for support and offer services designed to alleviate some of this burden. Our medication delivery service ensures that you never miss a dose, saving you time and reducing stress. 🚚 Additionally, you can consult a licensed pharmacist before ordering over-the-counter (OTC) medication.💊❤️#MentalHealthAwareness #CaregiverSupport #Pills2Me #CareDelivered #MHAM2024 Source : https://lnkd.in/gpNT8TpP
