🌍 UNECE was excited to participate in the 11th Baltic Housing Conference held today in Tallinn. Representatives of the UN4UkrainianCities project joined experts from across Europe to discuss solutions for renovating multi-apartment buildings in Ukraine. 🏢 The conference, hosted by Estonian Union of Housing Associations EKYL, explored financial mechanisms and challenges for building renovation in the EU and Ukraine. We shared insights from our project supporting the draft law on social housing in Ukraine and sustainable urban development in Kharkiv and Mykolaiv. Our partners Housing Initiative for Eastern Europe (IWO) addressed the municipal rental housing program being studied in Kharkiv. 👏 Thank you the invitation and to all participants for the engaging discussions on energy efficiency 🔋 and housing recovery. 🏡 #BHC2024

It was a pleasure to be there with you! It is always important to stay in touch and follow up on common ideas not only online but in places like Tallinn where a lot can be seen and learned.
