Did you know that in #Africa, there is no data on the learning levels of two-thirds of children? Due to resource and capacity constraints, many countries struggle to assess learning in a way that meets global reporting standards. It’s time to turn the spotlight on children's learning! The Assessment for Minimum Proficiency Levels (AMPL) tool, developed by the UNESCO Institute for Statistics, helps countries monitor and report educational progress more effectively. For the first time in 2021, Zambia reported learning levels using AMPL, which are presented in Zambia Spotlight report by #GEMReport, Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) and #Zambia’s Ministry of Education. Now, it is active in 8 sub-Saharan countries, helping them ensure that every child’s learning is reported. ➡️ Discover how AMPL is revolutionizing education reporting in Africa: https://bit.ly/3XI1aVr #UIS_UNESCO #BornToLearn #FoundationalLearning
