Youth is the strength of societies. 💪 Ten years ago, the UN established World Youth Skills Day to highlight the importance of equipping young people with essential skills for employment, decent work, and entrepreneurship. As we celebrate its 10th anniversary, we reflect on progress and the need to adapt to changing educational and labor markets. Today's youth face challenges such as violent conflicts, unsafe educational environments, online hate speech, and unequal economic opportunities. Addressing these issues is crucial for equipping youth to participate effectively in peacebuilding and conflict resolution. Today we mark #YouthSkillsDay. Let us commit to empowering young people for a peaceful, just, and inclusive future: https://lnkd.in/eHiKUUiD

The youth is the foundation on which we build our future. It is so important that we invest in them.
Uniformly WE need to insure our youths have all the necessary tools for good leadership skills. OUR World 🌍 Society depends on it! Children, young adults and newly minted adults need assurance that the World Stage is primed for their entrance. Lord knows they'll be pummeled right out of the gate! Survival of the Fittest! Let's ruminate on how we're able to get them FIT FIRST!

1moMaking peace with the planet depends on taking immediate action in three areas, where everyone – civil society, scientists, decision-makers, journalists, artists, and creators – youth and children have a role to play. First, we must develop scientific knowledge about ecosystems – because we can only protect what we know. Secondly, we must support the preservation efforts of remarkable natural resources, mainly to stop the collapse that is taking place before our eyes. Finally, we must educate children and youths. Because we can only safeguard what we are aware of, in this field, Developing Nations has an important goal: to give biodiversity a prominent place in school curricula where it is still overlooked. (Basic Education or Nai Talim aimed at developing moral citizens for independent Nations. He thought of himself as a citizen of the world. Gandhi wrote, “I learned from my illiterate but wise mother that all rights to be deserved and preserved came from duty well done. Thus, the very right to live accrues to us only when we do the duty of citizenship of the world.
