Absolutely! A strong team and effective leadership are the cornerstones of accomplishing any task successfully. Together, they synergize efforts, leverage diverse skills, and foster a collaborative environment where each member feels empowered and valued. A good leader not only sets clear goals and expectations but also inspires and motivates the team to perform at their best. Meanwhile, a good team comprises individuals who bring unique strengths, perspectives, and expertise to the table, complementing each other's abilities and working towards a common objective. When these elements align, they create a powerful force capable of overcoming challenges, adapting to changes, and achieving remarkable results.
We've all read about the five stages of group development, but experiencing them firsthand is an entirely different ballgame. Well, buckle up, because I'm about to take you on the wildest roller-coaster ride as our crew lived and breathed through each phase while organizing that high-octane IMMRC National Conference. Our voyage towards the IMMRC National Conference was an odyssey of personal growth and team evolution. When we first embarked on this journey, we were just a group of individuals (Forming Stage) trying to figure out how to work together. Alas, there were disagreements and clashes (Storming Stage). Putting together an event of this magnitude felt impossible. However, Dr. Preshni Khare unwavering belief in our potential was the beacon that guided us through the tempest. Under her sage mentorship, we learned to appreciate and harness the unique strengths that each member brought to the ensemble (Norming Stage). Gradually, our discordant melodies transformed into a harmonious symphony as we discovered the art of effective collaboration (Performing Stage). The real test came during the conference itself. Thanks to our hard work, Dr. Preshni guidance, and the invaluable insights from our Dean, Prof. Smita Lal & Director , Dilip Nandkeolyar we successfully hosted numerous research paper presentations (Adjourning Stage). What started as a daunting task with zero participation turned into a remarkable achievement. I am truly grateful to Dr. Preshni for her unwavering support, her nurturing leadership, and her confidence in our team. Her commitment to excellence and her passion for creating positive change have left an everlasting mark on each of us. We are incredibly grateful to Dean ma'am for sharing her vast experience with us. Her guidance and attention to even the smallest details provided us with a perspective we couldn't have gained otherwise. Her insights were truly a boon for our team. We are equally indebted to Director sir for his mentorship role in our journey, correcting our mistakes and providing constructive feedback that helped us progress. #Team_Transformation_Journey #AchievementUnlocked #EventSuccess

Steffen, CEO of Create Meaning, empowers leaders to create impactful change in the world. With expertise in strategy, branding, and systems change, he and his partners create new solutions for impact-driven ventures.
Navigating complexity is the essence of modern leadership and may be one of the most important skills to master right now. If you want to learn more about this topic - our We Create Meaning members Alexandra Robinson and Anne Caspari are hosting a workshop next week on the 11th in the We Space. There are only 2 spots left.
Excited to be hosting our first combined workshop with Anne Caspari and Alexandra Robinson, as new colleagues at Complexity Partners. It is tailored to people working in the field of societal transformation and systems change, who know the challenge of leading in unpredictable and entangled contexts. We have tools and approaches that will support you in this sometimes uncomfortable venture into unknown territory. These can for example help to meet the tension between the linear logic of funding and the entangled and complex nature of your work. They are developed by Prof. Dave Snowden, including Estuarine Mapping, Sensemaker ® , and Complex Facilitation. We cannot wait to spend this day with you - there are two places left for an intimate, praxis-oriented, and tailor-made session. Don’t miss out! Next Thursday, 11th July, 09:30-18:00, in Berlin Kreuzberg. English and German. SUSTAINABILTY AND REDUCTION OF INEQUALITIES Two big topics that must be addressed globally across various fields. Wether it’s #academia, #business, #production, #civilsociety, #services, or any other branch you can think of, it’s of vital importance to contribute to a #systemicchange, if we are to preserve our level of #welfare. Here in Czechia together with Kokoza we are currently working on of of the priority areas defined by ACCTING — exchange platform between actors involved with #communitygardens or #agrifood systems, improving visibility, access, connections and exchanging #bestpractices in the field of sustainable and inclusive #urbanagriculture Why is this important? 🌍 Sustainabilty: growth of consumption and production created our world of #welfare we live in. However, we need to reassess our way of thinking, as this wealth is not here with us just for granted. It’s got its cost. Throuhout our history, our planet has been bearing these costs. If one takes a look at the global historic production-consumption curve and their impact on our ecosystem, one shall ask a simple question: what can I do to do less harm for our planet? 🤝 Connectivity: through synergies between various actors at all levels it is possible to accelerate the transfer of knowledge and create new pathways for implementation of intersectional innovations. Our progress is based on the exchange of ideas and knowledge. Today it became easy to find connection dots and create #innovativesolutions that will advance us forward. At the end of the day, thanks to this we have this comfort around us. 💪🏼Empowerment of #vulnerablecommunities: exclusion is the worst possible state that might emerge. Not only it limits the number of ideas, it holds us back from the genuine #progress. Inclusivity and support of the people who were less fortunate to participate in economic activities due to range of reasons will artificially segregate our society and lead to more tensions, which might erupt and disrupt our fragile world. 🚀 Collective and individual action: embracing the #bottomup approach for a systemic change generates and promotes local knowledge and ideas on communal level represents a meaningful contribution to global strategies and policies, such as the #Agenda2030 and many more. Yet, these are not just abstract documents. There are people and ideas behind them. And all of us, in one way or another, share a certain degree of ownership there. ♻️Contribution to #biodiversity: it is not possible to ignore the effects of the #climatechange anymore. Unless the decisive action is undertaken not only at the level of international system, but at the level of cities municipalities, communities and individuals, we might face greater challenges and it is unclear if we as a mankind will be able to tackle them. I am delighted that Kokoza and it’s Mapko.cz can support the global change thought ACCTING and beyond 💚 Think globally — act locally!
Last week we held a workshop in Rome with the 🔟 pilot projects selected by ACCTING. What a pleasure to meet in person for the first time and gather representatives of organisations from many different European countries! Through a combination of Q&A sessions, group work, and individual presentations, we were able to get to know and inspire each other. We look forward to seeing how the projects develop! Thank you to our Knowledge and Innovation colleagues for organising the event👏 Read more: https://lnkd.in/eMiq793m
