"A Brickie alone is just a stone, but add all those Brickies together, and you end up with a powerful team." 💙 Brickies are first and foremost proud of where they work and radiate it. They are true Unibricks ambassadors and, as a "proud Brickie," never miss an opportunity to put their employer in the spotlight. A Brickie understands that a company can only grow through good cooperation. Alone, you stand nowhere. Excellent teamwork, both with your own team and all other teams, is therefore high on the priority list. By combining the knowledge of different teams and keeping communication open across departmental boundaries, we come up with creative out-of-the-box ideas that are crucial for successful growth. Also outside office hours Brickies like to engage in conversation and be inspired by other sector specialists, colleagues & partners. They also like to drink a pint to scout future fellow Brickies at the pub.

📈 How we at Saleshandy not just grow together at work but almost everything that we do together! Here are the very basic but fundamental five things that help us grow as a team:- 1. Bonds that Bind 👊 In a team, it's not just about colleagues; it's about building friendships. Strong bonds create a foundation of trust, making every task smoother. Remember, a team that laughs together, achieves together! 2. Passion Unleashed 🔥 Passion is the secret sauce! When every team member shares a common fire for the goal, the energy becomes infectious. Imagine a group of passionate individuals – unstoppable, right? That's the magic of shared enthusiasm! 3. Goals Aligned 🎯 A unified team moves towards a shared target. Clear goals keep everyone on the same page, marching together. It's like a synchronized dance – each step contributes to the success routine. Define your goals, and success becomes the choreography! 4. Fun Times Fueling Productivity 🎉 Yes, you read it right – fun at work! Breaks filled with laughter and camaraderie recharge our batteries. A joyous workplace is a productive one. So, don't forget to sprinkle a bit of fun into your daily grind. It's the secret sauce for innovation! 5. Emotions in Every Win 🏆 Celebrate victories together, big or small. The shared joy of success builds a strong emotional connection. When you win as a team, it creates a sense of belonging and pride. The journey becomes as memorable as the destination. P.S. A snap of us winning the Box Cricket Tournament last week 🏆🥇 TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork #PositiveVibes #CollaborationMagic

As a new store manager I knew I had to establish clear boundaries, create unity, and foster accountability. What better way than to order them t-shirts and hats! Team building activities, such as the gesture of providing matching attire, can enhance cohesion and collaboration within the team. By promoting unity, you're also encouraging open communication and mutual support, which are essential for productivity and success in any workplace. When team members feel valued and included, they are more likely to be motivated to perform their best and contribute positively to the overall goals of our store. How do you make your team feel valued? #team4867 #inspirebelonging #servewithaccountability

I’m sure we’ve all sat at our desks at some point, and been not quite sure of where to start, who to ask, or where to go with a question. You know that the answer or expert is out there, and they’re wonderfully willing to help, you just need pointing in the right direction. This week at Bielby Holdings, we launched the Big Red Button; It is where to go, when you don’t know where to go. With a simple form, our team can lodge any question or query in the moment, and someone will work behind the scenes to ensure that they’re connected with the right person, team, or template. Our wealth of cumulative knowledge is our biggest asset and underpins the Bielby pillars. The Big Red Button is all about maximising that. At Bielby, responsiveness and collaboration aren’t just words, they’re our values; The Bielby Way. And with no silos, everyone benefits. NB:The QR code pictured is a dummy. But if it piqued your interest, and collaboration and responsiveness sound like things you’re seeking in your next opportunity, reach out to David Tyrrell.

Taking time to appreciate and connect with your team is invaluable. In the hustle and bustle of daily tasks, it's easy to get caught up in deadlines and projects. But sometimes, the most productive thing you can do is to pause, leave everything behind, and spend quality time with your team. A simple gesture, like taking your team out for lunch, can make a significant impact. It shows that you value them not just as employees, but as individuals. It fosters a sense of belonging and boosts morale, which in turn can lead to increased productivity and job satisfaction. Remember, a happy team is a productive team. Take the time to listen, appreciate, and connect with those who work alongside you. It’s these moments of recognition and togetherness that build a stronger, more cohesive team.

I’ve discovered that THIS is the secret that makes a client great to work with. And, ultimately, it leads you to do your best work: 👉 Feeling like they trust you 👈 That’s what makes working with Tom Perlozzo so great. From our first call, he showed up with enthusiasm and curiosity. He shared some challenges around motivating and connecting his team (something most people are trying to figure out these days). He answered all of my questions and painted a picture of what his people were navigating. Then he trusted me to come up with a 2-hour team building session for his team of 100+ people working for the Town of Ocean City, MD. I worked hard to put together an experience that would foster connection, purpose, resilience, laughter, tears, and appreciation. By the time the session was over, his team members were saying, “We needed this!” and “When can you come back?” Even though the session happened over a month ago, they’re still talking about it and thanking Tom for it. But I couldn’t have done as well as I did without his trust. Here’s the bottom line 👇 If you hire someone with a proven track record of expertise and experience to do something, trust them to do it. When you hire someone and question what they do and how they do it and show a lack of trust or belief in them, it affects their confidence, and it’ll hurt their performance. Make sure they have what they need from you, and be available to answer any questions. But aside from that, if you want them to do good work, show them that you trust them. That’s what gives people the confidence to shine. Who’s with me? ✨

Nothing beats a face-to-face catch-up! Today, I had the pleasure of meeting with our fantastic Nat, who's been an integral part of Starbuck & Associates for over a year now. 🌟💼 As our business development, operations and admin guru, Nat keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes. Her dedication and expertise never cease to amaze me or @Zoe Starbuck! 👏💪 While we all enjoy the flexibility of remote work, there's something special about getting together in person to brainstorm and bounce ideas off each other. The energy is different, the creativity flows, and the drinks are always better when you don’t have to pour them yourself! 🥂 We covered so much ground today - from streamlining our processes to exploring exciting new opportunities. Moments like these remind me how lucky we are to have such a talented team. 🚀✨ Here's to the power of collaboration and the magic that happens when great minds come together! 🎉🌈 How do you maintain strong connections with your remote team members? #Teamwork #RemoteWork #Collaboration #BusinessGrowth #ExecutiveCoaching

This week I had the extraordinary opportunity to do some team-building activities with the team at Gordian Staffing. It was such an enriching experience that I hope other companies start implementing them for their coworkers. Here are a few reasons why they're worth it! 💬 Improved Communication: Team building exercises facilitate better communication among team members. By participating in activities that require cooperation and coordination, we learn to communicate effectively. 🫂 Strengthened Bonds: Building strong relationships among team members is important for promoting trust and understanding. Team building activities provide opportunities for colleagues to connect on a personal level. 🤝🏼Increased Collaboration: Team building activities promote collaboration by encouraging employees to work together towards a common goal. Through shared experiences and challenges, team members learn to leverage each other's strengths, leading to improved teamwork and greater overall productivity. #TeamBuilding #Communication #Bonds #Collaboration

We'd like to introduce you to Tim Schwanz, one of our newest team members! Here's some information about our Account Manager, Tim! Position: Account Manager Tenure: 3 months Hobbies: 👫Spending time with family and friends in any capacity 🎣Taking advantage of the quick Minnesota weather with outdoor activities like golfing and fishing. 🏋️Pretending to be a personal trainer for my parents and a couple friends 3x a week at the gym 🏘️Woodworking and house projects Favorite Foods / Meals: Steak My mom’s lasagna Favorite Moment in the Industry: I have a lot of great moments, but this was my personal “aha!” moment for DiSC, and why I’ve become such an advocate for it. Here’s the background: I’m a strongly inclined i-Style, and my manager, at the time, was a strongly inclined DC Style. In other words, I was very people/relationship-oriented, and she was very task-oriented. Early on in our working relationship, we would struggle seeing eye-to-eye–especially when she would give me a project. I often felt that she would shoot down my ideas and question the way I was doing things. For those of you who know DiSC well, you’re probably nodding your head and thinking to yourself, ‘Yep, she was doing something that came naturally to her–challenging you!’ And that’s very true. But I couldn’t see it at the time. Honestly, I felt attacked because it felt like the relationship didn’t matter. That is, until another coworker put the situation into my language. He asked me, “Tim, do you know how you love to collaborate?” I responded, “You just used one of my favorite words. You’re right, I do love to collaborate.” He then said back, “When someone has a DC style, challenge is their form of collaboration.” The lightbulb turned on. I knew that when I was being challenged in projects and meetings, I just had to pause, reflect, and then shift my mindset to looking at these challenges as my manager’s way of collaboration with me." Please join us in welcoming Tim to the team! We are so glad to have you!

Have you been in a team that is exhausted but still want to push through? How were you able to support your team to finish up the task? I have come to know from experience, that no matter the external pressure, if the team has a good control over the pressure within, excellence will be the end product amidst any other external negative influence. One time, I was in a team and the external pressure was beginning to crawl into us, it was quite overwhelming, so everyone began to support the best way possible to improve our performance. I'm speaking of team to team bonding helped us in that season, we didn't go out to fulfill this, we found a way to do so in the office... Below are four ways we supported each other; 1) Gift: A team member would gift us anything, nothing is little... I remember it brighten our mood whenever this happens and it improves our communication (We have something to make reference to)... 2) Compliment: Noticing each other is another way this works, we get to admire our outfits, hair, shoe etc.. This makes us feel visible.. 3) Support: If there's any difficulty on the job, we get to support each other to reduce tension. 4) Emailing/Sweet notes; When the environment is tensed, I send out emails reminding my team mates, that they are strong and intelligent to get through this. Sweet short notes also does the work. How have you supported your team? or what support have you received that made you smile? P.S; I am available to be in your team, What do you want me to do? slide in my inbox please...
