I am very excited to share that after many months of writing with Dr. Alice Brown, Petrea Redmond, Jill Lawrence, Cathy S. and Stephanie Foote, Ph.D. our HERDSA Guide: Enhancing Online Education in Higher Education has been published. This quote by the wonderful Professor Sally Kift outlines the value of this guide: “As the massive shift to online learning shows no sign of waning, this Guide makes a critical and timely contribution to our sector’s practice and framing of all aspects of online engagement, including its measurement. Authored by renowned experts, it empowers educators with effective techniques and practical tools to engage students in their online learning, acknowledging how fundamentally different online engagement is to that in traditional face-to-face environments.”

A key strategy in course offerings now involves aligning courses with the market preferences of source countries. Over the years, the private education sector has recognized that attracting students from diverse sources requires tailoring course offerings to match the preferences of those countries. This approach extends to curriculum design and content as well. It's no surprise that successful providers excel in attracting large numbers of students by purposefully designing their courses to meet these specific demands.
