And 3 weeks later he lays-off 20% of Flexporters and within 9 months another 20% so that makes 40% ...right ?? ....No according to Linkedin Flexport employed 729 in the six months from the Jan 2023 and it currently employs 3276 , like rearranging deckchairs on the Titanic , just hiring and firing to suite the managements inability to run a business which leads to Convoy Inc , Seattle
According to Freightwaves '' After it ( Convoy ) breached debt covenants, Hercules Capital took over in order to wind down the business, ultimately selling the technology platform Flexport ''
So did that money go to the staff ?? did they get the October salaries ??
Did the money go to Convoy's bank account and in seconds to Hercules ?
What about Convoy's CEO ?........... O as part of the deal , his off to Flexport , like F..... the staff ............. I'm Alight Jack
Whatever happened to the Captain going down with the ship ?
So it's not woman and children first , its me ' Convoy's CEO ' and my mates first ................and we're taking the only lifeboat
Convoy has not filed for bankruptcy instead it appears under some contractual arrangement one of its lenders ' Herculas ' could just walk in and pocket the asserts because it foolishly loaned money to Convoy.
So ex Convoyers and Flexporters please please don't come on Linkedin telling everyone what a great journey it was and how you owe so much to these companies who condescended to let you get on their Rocketships.
They shit on you . always remember that .

4wScott is the man! I remember my first introduction to Scott. I was at a crossroads in my Enterprise career and a was entertaining what I perceived at the time as a scary transition. His counsel made a stressful change a calm one. Twenty years later, I'm sure he has forgotten all about that short chat, but I remember and that is what makes Scott a special leader.
