Transparency in climate action is important. Everybody really needs to do their bit and not leave their work to someone else. It helps avoid things like green washing, with documents such as nationally determined contributions measured up against biennial update reports and biennial transparency reports. Basically, are the actions commensurate to the words and intentions? What is transparency in climate change and why is it important?
