Austin Combs closed 4.4 mil last month. How did he do it? Last week, Austin Combs shared with the team what he is doing. 1) When connecting with clients and referral partners, he practices FORD. What is FORD? It stands for Family, Occupation, Recreation, and Dreams. FORD gives you guidelines on what questions to ask. He listens more than he talks. 2) He follows up with agents, such as the buyer and listing agents, weekly. Along with the borrower once under contract. 3) He practices empathy. " Getting a home isn't easy; don't forget what they have gone through to get to the mortgage part." Doing this helps deepen the connection and build trust with everyone. "No one wants a mortgage; they want a home." Keep this in mind when you're dealing with the transaction. 4) Consistency is his superpower. Austin recommends reading the book Slight Edge.
