Genghis Khan. The name itself evokes images of a fierce, unstoppable force. But what was the secret behind his astonishing success? Mobility. If it’s mobile, it’s an asset! While his enemies were weighed down by their fortresses and fixed positions, Genghis Khan's armies were built for speed and adaptability. They could cover vast distances quickly, striking where they were least expected. They were masters of the swift, decisive maneuver. And it was this mobility that allowed them to conquer an empire stretching from Korea to Hungary. Now, you might be thinking, "That's all well and good for a 13th-century conqueror, but what does it have to do with me?" Everything. Because in today's world, mobility is more valuable than ever. Not just the ability to move physically, but the mental agility to adapt to new situations, to learn new skills, to pivot when necessary. In my own life, Ive seen the power of mobility time and again. It's a lesson I learned deep in my bones during my time in the Indian Navy. As an aeronautical engineer, I was constantly on the move. Ship to shore, base to base. And that mobility? It was my secret weapon. It allowed me to soak up knowledge, to be the solution wherever problems arose. The smartest people I know? They're the ones who aren't afraid to move. If you're mobile, you're an asset!

It is time for humanity to put our differences aside and put an end to warfare. I know it's a crazy concept that may seem impossible given the breadth of different people and views that exist around the world. Those with power seem to be bent on creating violence in order to get their way. But the people are done with war. We the People of the World are done with bloodshed in the name of Nationalism, Religion, Economics, and Supremacy. Let's make our voices heard, and shout from the rooftops for peace on Earth. We must endorse leaders who endorse peace. We must perform acts of kindness when the opportunities arise. We must learn to forgive and settle differences in civil ways. End the industry of killing Lockheed Martin Boeing RTX Northrup Corporation. A peaceful world where everyone is fed, housed and free from civil oppression is possible if we let go of ideologies that separate us and prioritize humanity.

His commitment to excellence and innovation serves as a guiding light, pushing me to strive for continual improvement, aiming for that elusive 1% better each day. Interestingly, fate intervened when my parents initially considered naming me after my great grandfather, Brouwer. However, my grandfather, perhaps influenced by the complexities of family dynamics and workplace relationships, wasn't keen on the idea. As serendipity would have it, a pivotal moment at a Wendy's changed the course of my identity when a resounding "BRAD, DO NOT DO THAT" echoed through the air. In that instant, my name was sealed, creating a unique connection to a destiny filled with challenges and determination. Embracing the Brouwer legacy is no easy feat, especially considering the high standards set by Brouwer McIntyre . Yet, each day I embark on this journey with unwavering determination, fueled by the desire to one day stand alongside the greats in any sort of hall of fame. The road ahead may be tough, but the commitment to improvement and the legacy that precedes me drive my passion to reach new heights. As I navigate the twists and turns of my professional journey, I am reminded that success is not a destination but a continuous pursuit of becoming the best version of oneself. On the final day of the EAA Oshkosh airshow last year, I had an interaction I'll never forget: While at a recruiting table, a young girl approached me and asked, "What do I do if I want to be a pilot, but the boys at my summer camp say I can't because I'm a girl?" I've been fortunate to inspire many young girls over the years, but at that moment, I witnessed the influence my advice and mentorship could have on someone's dreams. She came up seeking an ally to reassure her that her dream was not impossible. Being in a position to confidently reassure her is something I'm grateful for. I love to know that girl is out there chasing down her aviation dreams. ✈️😎 This interaction is one of the reasons I've continue mentoring and helping others through my work as a speaker, advisor, and author.
