This is fundamentally untrue. There is no ATS on the market that automatically rejects candidates prior to it being seen by a person. An ATS is a very basic digital filing cabinet used by recruiters to manage candidates. Nothing more. The advice is sound. But to scare candidates that a machine is rejecting candidates is false and perhaps something you should review.

I echo 100% what Ryan has said. This advice is not correct. Candidates please promote your strengths, experiences and exposure don't get hung up on the stuff particularly on slide 4! An ATS does not auto reject candidates based on any of this stuff. It may have filter questions which if you do not have what they are looking for will decline you but that is different entirely.
