What is a "creationship"? A creationship is a term we coined to describe the partnerships we have within our creative community. We deeply believe that creativity sparks creativity, and we understand the importance of building relationships with other industry leaders in design, fashion, art, and tech. Our current creationships not only include our incredible office tenants but also long-term studio renters. We notice budding ideas come to fruition as various clients share space within our four walls, reminding us that we can't put a price tag on organic interactions. We simply love being a brand's "home-away-from-home" by opening our doors for people to move in. How do you maintain meaningful relationships within your company?

If you take care of your employees well, they will take care of your customers better. Amanda Triolo and Grasshopper Heating & Cooling has the coolest home service business office I’ve seen so far, and I’ve seen a lot of very cool ones! (Link in comments) After this visit - I have so many things I want to implement into my business and think home service businesses should consider about space design and leadership: 💎 Live dashboards and team statistics on displays 💎 Vision boards each team member shares their goals and they celebrate hitting together 💎 Wall wraps throughout with core values and taglines help people stay in zone 💎 Team community space with fun and diversion, even food options provided 💎 Leadership and key teammates so consistent on goals and values 💎 To be real - just killer branding and interior design making their content (and this content) way more fun to watch! Follow them on social, leave some encouragement for what Amanda and her team are building below, or nominate another company that has an incredible space, and I may try to fly out and tour. 😜👀📈✈️ Thank you again Amanda and team for playing along with me, and for the inspiration. I’ve been buzzing all week with ideas of things I want to implement at our company. ⚡️💙 Shoutouts! Joe Crisara - Service MVP on training Dan Antonelli - KickCharge® Creative on branding

🏛 The Art of Relatability in Business Properties: Fostering Connection in Commercial Real Estate 🏨 As professionals in the dynamic realm of commercial real estate, we often navigate a landscape where bricks, mortar, and square footage take center stage. Yet, beneath the architectural marvels and financial metrics lies a crucial element that can transform mere properties into thriving hubs of success—relatability. Relatability in business properties isn't just about aesthetics or location; it's about creating spaces that resonate with the human experience. When tenants, clients, and stakeholders feel connected to a property on a personal level, the potential for collaboration, growth, and long-term partnerships expands exponentially. Here are three key strategies that showcase the power of relatability in enhancing business properties: Tailored Experiences: Gone are the days when a bland, cookie-cutter office space sufficed. Today's businesses crave environments that reflect their brand ethos and values. By curating tailored experiences within commercial properties—be it through unique interior designs, collaborative workspaces, or eco-friendly initiatives—we foster a sense of belonging and alignment with tenants' visions. Community Engagement: A vibrant community breathes life into any property. Embracing community engagement initiatives such as networking events, workshops, and charitable drives not only enriches the local ecosystem but also positions the property as a focal point for meaningful interactions. These engagements foster a sense of pride and camaraderie among tenants and visitors alike. Technological Integration: In an increasingly digital world, technology serves as a bridge that connects people and spaces. Incorporating smart technologies within business properties—from energy-efficient systems to seamless connectivity solutions—not only enhances operational efficiency but also demonstrates a commitment to meeting the evolving needs of modern businesses. By infusing these strategies with authenticity and intentionality, we not only elevate the appeal of business properties but also cultivate enduring relationships with those who inhabit and interact with these spaces. Let's hashtag this with #RelatableRealEstate to spark conversations and insights into the transformative power of relatability in the world of commercial real estate.

Having the opportunity for continued learning about Safe Streets and Complete Street Design at Smart Growth America's convening was an amazing two days of learning and connection with others doing great work across the US. Sadly, our streets are designed to move cars as quickly as possible, at the expense of safety for all other travelers. Because of this, the number of people killed while walking on our roadways continues to rise—reaching 7,522 in 2022, marking a 40-year high and a 75% increase since 2010. Smart Growth America’s signature report, Dangerous by Design 2024, combines federal data with lived experience to unpack this trend, revealing the connection between roadway design and the ever-increasing, record number of people struck and killed while walking. Pedestrian deaths are up by a staggering 75 percent since 2010, reaching a 40-year high. This is unacceptable. The Dangerous By Design 2024 report is out now, combining federal data with lived experience to unpack the connection between roadway design and the ever-increasing record deaths of people walking. The report ranks the most dangerous metros in the United States based on pedestrian fatalities from 2018 to 2022. Read the report here: https://lnkd.in/gPQRaCmj

How can we help?
Welcome to my office at CityLife Residential. Well, at least my office door. This was the very first thing that I hung up when I joined the CityLife team. First, let me tell you what it's NOT. It's not just decoration. It's not an empty promise. It's not something I think about once in a while. At CityLife Residential, we have 4 guiding core values: 1. Let's Go 2. We Got Your Back 3. Extreme Ownership 4. The Red Sweater (Happiness, Care & Compassion) Well, for me... there's a 5th Core Value - "How Can I Help?". Listen, I don't always get it right, but I try really hard to help others whenever I can. It doesn't matter if it's at work, in my community or with my family. This is part of who I am and who I'm trying to be everyday. So it's easy to see why I was drawn to CityLife Residential. After all, our focus is to build happiness, transform lives, and strengthen the community. It's also why I'm so excited to be working on the real estate investment side of our company. We are able to accomplish our mission through our work in real estate investment and that's a pretty good feeling! So let's spread that around - if you've been curious about the CityLife team and what we do, let's talk! Don't worry - we've got your back. (It's one of our core values, after all!) 🖤💛 Robin

🎨 Why plan a space for kids without asking them? 🦒🌳 When creating new spaces—whether it’s a schoolyard or a city park—getting the end users involved is key! Whether it's students, kids, or local residents, their ideas help shape spaces they actually want to use: making a place that truly meets their needs and sparks their imagination. Plus, it’s more fun to design with them than for them! 👩🏫👦 By engaging the people who will use these areas, we foster a sense of ownership and ensure the space is designed for real, everyday use. 🌟 Let’s not just think outside the box—let’s let the box-makers help build it! 🛠️🎉 #CommunityEngagement #InclusiveSpaces #innovation #management

Last week, on October 3rd and 4th, I attended the KORE (Kootenay Outdoor Recreation Enterprise) outdoor conference in Kimberley, BC. Honestly, before going, I had no idea what to expect from the event. Having only been in Canada for three years, my English is still a work in progress (I'm in my third year of speaking English—probably at the level of a toddler in Canadian daycare). I'm also still learning about the culture here. So, I wondered if I would gain anything from the conference. After spending two days there, my biggest takeaway was: "I'm so glad I came." Not only did I learn a lot about the culture, but I also discovered many different careers and companies and how they are connected to the outdoor industry. On top of that, I got to go trail running with colleagues, which opened up new networking opportunities. I was surprised by how many people came from other areas like Vancouver and Squamish, and it was a pleasure to chat with them. We didn’t just talk about the outdoors; we also discussed design, personal development, and much more. I learned a lot from those conversations. Right now, I’m focusing on two things: creating fun and creative installations for parks and resorts with functional elements—like a dog-shaped container for dog waste bags or playful signage—and making cozy t-shirts with outdoor-themed graphics. My goal is always the same: to make people smile when they see my designs and spark conversations about them. Though these two projects may seem different, they share the same core idea: connecting people. I'm excited to see where both will lead! KORE - Kootenay Outdoor Recreation Enterprise Initiative
