"Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine has significantly changed the work of the police officers. The problem of domestic violence in society is even more heightened, requiring the adaptation of the police response to modern realities and challenges," - Oleksiy Biloshytskyi, First Deputy Chief, Patrol Police Department of Ukraine.
The Police Stabilization Project team recently completed a series of workshops to improve the effectiveness of law enforcement officers in #Ukraine when responding to domestic violence and conflict-related sexual violence.
As a result, officers improved their practical and tactical skills in addressing emerging challenges while responding to domestic violence calls.
Funded by Global Affairs Canada, PSP supports the National Police of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs to effectively respond to new demands and responsibilities in communities following the ongoing full-scale war with Russia.
