A closed chapter is not a disservice to the world, it is a clear path paved for future generations. Throughout history struggle has been romanticized, portraying that a journey through hardships is the ultimate mark of success... We are here to rewrite the narrative and dismental systems and practices that foster exploitation and injustice. For future generations. In this present moment, we stand against the struggles our forefathers faced in the past.

I'm a huge Seinfeld fan. I loved watching his commencement address for Duke's 2024 graduating class. Half comedy routine / half serious advice (delivered with humour). https://lnkd.in/ekmK5wDG Below are a few takeaways that resonated with me (all direct quotes from his address): "Three Real Keys to Life: 1. Bust your ass. 2. Pay attention. 3. Fall in love. Find something where you love the good parts and don’t mind the bad parts too much. Work. Exercise. Relationships. They all have a solid component of pure torture, and they are all 1,000% worth it." "Privilege: Privilege today seems to be the worst thing you can have. We’re embarrassed about things we should be proud of and proud of things we should be embarrassed about." "Work Is Wonderful: Don’t blame work. I definitely will not be looking back on my life wishing I worked less. If that’s not how you feel at work. Quit." "Don’t Lose Your Sense of Humor: Humor is the most powerful, most survival, essential quality you will ever have or need to navigate through the human experience."

How will the world change on May 28? The new Ocean Shipping Reform Act begins to change everything - the Detention and Demurrage Rule tells us how. But not everything is crystal clear, so this year's AGRICULTURE TRANSPORTATION COALITION (AgTC) Annual Meeting will be full of new thoughts, new solutions, new players, new service providers, and new questions for the industry, shipper, FMC decision-makers. www.agtrans.org/events

Acclaimed Author of THRIVING! How to Create a Healthier, Happier, and More Prosperous Life | Public Speaker, Entrepreneur, Conservationist & Advisor
The Four Personal Freedoms As we celebrate our 248th Independence Day on July 4th, I want to encourage you to consider your personal freedoms — which you must choose and embrace if you are to be effective and happy. In his book 10X is Easier than 2X, Dan Sullivan makes the important point that you have four freedoms: 1. Freedom of Time by recognizing the value and quality of your time. You have focus/performance time; buffer time for practicing and organizing; and free/rejuvenation time. 2. Freedom of Money by appreciating the value and quality of your true wealth, which is qualitative and subjective. Money alone does not reflect your true wealth. 3. Freedom of Relationship with yourself and others. You have the possibility of forging healthy, valuable, deep and enduring relationships. 4. Freedom of Purpose builds on the first 3 freedoms and requires you to embrace the uniqueness that is you and pursue the purest expression of yourself. It means discovering your purpose for being and having a clear sense of your mission. Defining your purpose in every stage in life is of critical importance! How much freedom have you created for yourself? I hope you have an enjoyable and safe 4th of July!

In the faded sepia tones of history, an evocative photograph captures Napoleon Hill in the nascent years of his adulthood, likely in his late teens or early twenties. Dressed in a dignified pinstripe suit and tie, Hill suggests an aura of youthful ambition and sophistication. The photograph, a relic of a bygone era, offers a glimpse into Hill's formative years, perhaps during his tenure working for Virginia Governor Rufus A. Ayres. His demeanor suggests a sense of purpose and determination, hinting at the resilience and drive that would later define his illustrious career as a pioneer of personal development and success philosophy. As the sepia hues cast a nostalgic veil over the image, Hill's poised countenance stands as a testament to the transformative journey that would shape his destiny and inspire generations to come. The photograph is housed in the Napoleon Hill Foundation World Headquarters and Archive Offices in Wise, Virginia. #NapoleonHill #thinkandgrowrich #motivation #goals #mindset #inspiration #motivation
