Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to collect a number of name tag lanyards from various conferences and conventions, where I either spoke as a speaker or attended as a delegate. Not every event had a name tag lanyard, and sometimes they were taken back, but when I did manage to bring one home, I would toss it into a drawer. It’s fascinating to look back at these and reflect on the journey. These name tags are more than just souvenirs to me, they are reminders of the importance of continuous learning and education in our profession. Each conference and convention provided invaluable knowledge, fresh perspectives, and the chance to network with like-minded professionals. Continuous learning is the cornerstone of professional growth. It allows us to stay updated with the latest trends, improve our skills. Education empowers us to offer the best possible service to our clients and reinforces our commitment to ethical standards and professional excellence. Do you see your company or organisation among these? If so, you’ve left a lasting impression on my career. Which one do you think holds the most value to me?
