One of the highlights of EduFest WA 2024 in Perth was seeing the diverse cross section of educators joining us from across sectors, schools, and systems as we shared best practice and collaborated in order to create innovative learning experiences for our students! We had such a blast seeing this community of forward thinking educators coming together to connect, learn, and share over the course of the day and we can't wait to do it all again next year.

How do you think the future of education is set to change in the next 10 years? 🤔📚 Our attendees were challenged to think big about the types of tools students will be using in the classroom and in the workforce to bring their ideas to life, as well as the types of skills young people will need to stay competitive in the workforce of the future. We started our program by looking into the trends shaping the ways we work, learn, and live in the future, before backwards mapping to see how we can inspire and empower our students today!

Our Morning Musing session was an absolute highlight of our inaugural EduFest WA program in Perth this year! Sitting down with the Young West Australian Of The Year, Kate Kirwin, we had a full house to explore the future of work and intrapreneurial pathways for our young people. During this discussion, Kate shared her story from school as built her current company, SheCodes, as a leading project for her employer, SpaceCubed, as an intrapreneur. SheCodes has since gone on to become a leading organisation upskilling women in tech careers and Kate as a true intrapreneur has grown the organisation from strength to strength! This was the perfect way to get out attendees thinking big about future pathways for their students ahead of an action packed inaugural EduFest WA program.

At EduFest WA we have a blast working with educators across the state to design innovative learning experiences for their students, and build a culture of innovation in their communities. We loved seeing attendees bringing their ideas to life through our Educators' Design Sprint at EduFest WA in Perth last term! With inspiring speakers, hands on challenges, and plenty of lively discussions, attendees were challenged to develop a practical solution to a 'how might we?' statement designed to make a positive impact in their school community. We loved seeing all the phenomenal ideas generated by our attendees and we can't wait to share them all

EduFest WA is coming to Bunbury and Geraldton in Term Four, 2024! ✨🚀 Off the back of a truly inspiring day of connection, collaboration, and learning at EduFest WA in Perth last week, we are incredibly excited to announce that we’ll be hosting EduFest WA Professional Learning Days for regional educators next term. Taking place in Geraldton on the 5th of November, and Bunbury on the 8th of November 2024, these professional learning days will be hands on learning experiences for educators wanting to build innovative learning experiences, and a culture of future thinking.
