The Prescription Contraception Workforce Tracker (https://lnkd.in/dKrBPcHj) monitors the location, clinician specialty, and distribution/clinician density of the prescription contraception workforce. The tracker uses IQVIA prescription claims to identify prescribers of the contraceptive pill, patch, and/or ring. The claims cover an estimated 92 - 94% of all retail prescription claims nationally in 2019 - 2022. Take a look at the overall state of our contraceptive workforce. What stands out to you? 🤔 To see where this fits into the overall picture of contraception trends, see our JAMA Network Open research letter from April 15 (https://lnkd.in/ehCRu3Ds) by Julia Strasser, Ellen Schenk, Qian Luo, Mandar Bodas, Maria Murray, and Candice Chen

Have you experienced benefits being on the combined pill? Were you told to come off it if you experienced migraine with aura? For years the advice has been that if you have migraine with aura you can't be on the combined pill due to an increased risk of stroke.
