Handsome ✅ Earns well ✅ Good physique ✅ Not a cry baby ✅ Are men now just reduced to mere checklists? Are we treating men as mere showpieces? Does this reflect true equality? Shouldn't they too have the right to give consent? Shouldn't they too have a judgment-free space? Shouldn't they have the freedom to live life as women do? Why should we restrict acknowledgment to just one day - November 19th? Let's reflect on this, ladies. Every individual deserves a safe and respectful space. We often point fingers at society, but let's remember, we are an integral part of it. It's time for us to be the catalyst for change. It's just hard to be KEN, As it is to be BARBIE...!! What do New Yorkers think about Women’s History Month? This year’s Women’s History Month isn’t just about women; it’s also about the community advocating for each other. 💚 Learn more about Convo Now at convorelay.com/convonow. #NewYorkCity #ConvoNow #Interview #WomensHistoryMonth [TRANSCRIPT: Melissa: Conversations in New York City: Women’s History Month Edition! Who in the history of women do you admire and why? Person 1: Maya Angelou... I feel like that would be a common answer, but because of how she uses her voice. Melissa: What makes you feel empowered as a woman? Person 2 + 3: Hello! Person 2: For me, it would be going out dressed however and anyhow I want to dress. It allows me to be who I am and who I want to be as a woman instead of feeling like I have to adhere to society’s expectations. Melissa: What does the word feminism mean to you? Person 4: [laughter] Rights for women to do what they have to do, like access to birth control, abortion, and pay equity. Person 5: I’d say equality for all genders. Person 6: One should be capable of doing whatever they’d like and saying whatever they’d like, and we’d also hope for pay equity just like white males. Pay women what they are worth.] [VD: Melissa interviews 6 strangers on the bustling streets of New York City about women history month. Each clip shows the dialogue with a hearing stranger, along with a screen recording of the ASL interpreter facilitating the conversation.]

Actress America Ferrara states that she "experienced a whole new category of imbalance" in the workplace after giving birth. She is not alone! It's a shared experience among women, and it's a journey filled with imbalances. The weight of these disparities is often amplified by a cultural expectation that women should take on the role of caretakers in almost every scenario. Whether it's the decision between work and family, work and life, taking care of children, supporting aging parents, managing menstruation, navigating menopause, or simply putting self-care first, it's an ongoing challenge. We constantly find ourselves in situations where choices must be made. Do we prioritize our careers, our families, or ourselves? The list of decisions is endless, and the burden is heavy. This societal expectation that women must shoulder the responsibility for all these roles is in dire need of change. It's time to shift this burden collectively.

"Sometimes I have to yell, really loud, to make sure I am heard."~ Alice Parker, 4, daughter Kate T. Parker, author of "Force of Nature, A Celebration of Girls and Women Raising Their Voices." You gotta do what you gotta do, and sometimes it involves yelling. Let it out. Great tip from a kid for females of all ages. P.S. Kate Parker also wrote, "Strong is the New Pretty." Now I have 2 books on my must-read list. #girlsempowerment #womenempowerment

It showcases unconditional love for women, children, and dogs, while men often face harsh judgment and receive love only under certain conditions. Love 💖 is a universal gift that knows no bounds. It should be a force that unites us all, regardless of gender or any other factor. Let's make a commitment to spread unconditional love for all – women, children, dogs, and men alike. #unconditionallove #equalityforall #personaldevelopment #linkedincommunity #linkedinlearning
