FORT MOORE, GA: On May 21, 17 students representing the countries of Colombia, Mexico, and Panama walked the stage here at #WHINSEC. They completed the 5-week and were presented their respective diplomas. This course prepares security force personnel in individual tasks associated with skills and knowledge to function as advisors or planners in crisis management during military operations or initial response activities in collaboration with the interagency and multinational community. The DoD said Thursday DLA launched a competitive acquisition process and received 14 offers for the IDIQ contract, which will support the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Coast Guard. The FFP contract has a two-year base period and four two-year option terms and is a follow-on to a five-year IDIQ contract awarded in March 2019. The awardees are: ADS L.N. The Pentagon's 2025 budget indicates that the US Army and US Navy plan to downsize their active duty ranks and shift some of those billets to the Reserve and National Guard while Marine and United States Air Force ranks will stay stable but their Reserve components will also grow by 500 and 400, respectively. The Army plans to lose 1,700 active duty soldiers while adding 1,000 Reserve members, while the Navy plans to cut 5,500 active duty sailors and add 500 to the Reserve. 📰 From our ROA SmartBrief. 🙅 Hundreds of V-22 Osprey aircraft across all branches of the US military will not be allowed to return to full flight status until at least mid-2025. This was announced by Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) chief Vice Adm. Carl Chebi following a string of crashes that killed 20 troops in a span of just two years.
