FYI- Investing in employees without reducing risk doesn't add up. It's time for unions to consider: 1. The substantial long-term cost of indoor environmental health issues, which could reach billions of dollars annually and is ultimately paid by taxpayers. 2. The concerning lack of bipartisan agreement between Republicans and Democrats regarding the measurement and regulation of indoor environments. This divide prevents us from seizing opportunities for cost-effective solutions and prevention. 3. The long-term cost of indoor environmental health issues to taxpayers can be substantial, potentially reaching billions of dollars annually. The lack of bipartisan agreement between Republicans and Democrats on measuring indoor environments is concerning, as it leads to missed opportunities for cost-effective solutions and prevention. These issues can result in increased healthcare expenses, reduced productivity, higher absenteeism, and escalating energy bills. Addressing and regulating indoor environments could significantly reduce these financial burdens on taxpayers.

Why do select US CEOs and policymakers seem to overlook the importance of indoor air quality, when it has a significant impact on factors like productivity, absenteeism, rising building energy costs, and building-related illnesses? 2. Could a lack of environmental monitoring in indoor spaces be hindering efforts to address issues such as productivity, absenteeism, increasing energy expenses, and building-related health concerns? 3. In the pursuit of better indoor environments, should we be as diligent in monitoring indoor air quality as we are in broadcasting outdoor weather conditions?
