I found the comments from Rob Bauer, Admiral RNLN, the Chair of the Military Committee of NATO, enlightening, if not slightly frightening. At the WSJ CEO Council he said, “It’s not only the military that has to prepare—or the governments that have to prepare—for war; I think businesses have to prepare for war as well,” Bauer said. “We have to become much more resilient.” This is one reason the National Association of Manufacturers - NAM, our state association partners and many of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)'s Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP)s have invested so much in the CONNEX Marketplace. Helping U.S. manufacturers find and be found is a good first step to finding the resiliency he spoke about and why we have OEMs and small and mid-sized manufacturers already using the platform. #manufacturing #Resiliency #supplychain https://lnkd.in/ezpie7gs

Not only do the extreme cold conditions bring unique requirements to the weapons systems but they also expose the gaps in the military’s ECWCS and CTAPS. While both of these systems are great for certain conditions, there are many improvements that need to be made to enhance the warfighters ability to sustain and survive in future conflicts in alpine and arctic environments.

Vets Listen to Albert. Let me put this as succinctly as I can: 1) Situation Enemy Forces: the VA Friendly Forces: Albert and his crew 2) Mission: Get the money from the VA that you are entitled to 3) Execution: A) Concept of Operation: follow Albert’s Iinstructions B) coordination instructions: schedule appointments and let Albert’s Team of experts develop your DBQ’s 4) Service Support: various members of Albert’s Staff 5) Command and Signal: A) Signal: utilize social media, e-mail and cell phones. Respond as needed. Use the VA website. B) Albert is the Commander for this operation. He knows what he is doing and he will help you. Be sure to file you Notice of I tent to File with the VA when he tell you to do so. Personal Story: 1) 2005 - 2019: went from 20% to 70% CA Disability with a lot of pain, heartache and frustration. 2) Jan 2023: utilized The Fulfiled Veteran Project and by November 2023, the VA gave me 100% VA Disability. 3) December 2023: started receiving 100% VA Disability Payments. 4) November 2023: filed for CRSC 5) January 2024: received $24K in back pay 6) May 2024: approved for 100% CRSC 7) August/September 2024: will start receiving CRSC payments and will get about $50K in back pay.
