Leadership Made Simple (But Not Easy) I've always admired my colleagues with a Military background. Although I never served in the Military, I appreciate how these colleagues bring discipline, integrity, results orientation and so much more every day. I just finished: "The Wisdom of the Bullfrog: Leadership made simple (but not easy) by Admiral William H McRaven. He presents 18 leadership traits he developed during his tenure in the Navy. He does a masterful job of telling his experience through compelling stories and making it applicable to leadership beyond the Military. My top three 1) It pays to be a winner: Establish standards of conduct and performance. 2) Can you stand before the long green table: Be accountable for your actions. 3) A Shepard should smell like his sheep: Spend time on the "Factory Floor".
