This past 25 years has gone by fast. I remember working with DFCM on the original plans for the building with Dave Kinnecom. After long discussions over where we needed to place the building, Region 2 offered up the area North of their office. I spent the next year working with Darren Rosenstein, Dave Kinnecom, Martin Knopp, Transcore, and Big D completing the building and interior components. All this combinded with 250 miles of fiber installation, VMS, CCTV, Roadway Detection, RWIS, upgraded intersections and other devices as they became available. This was an extremely hugh task, but one of the most rewarding of my 50 years with UDOT.
