Back in 1983, Napoleon Jackson came up the hard way when he first started working in a box plant — handloading bales of corrugated without the modern luxury of conveyors. For most of his career, he built up his skills on the plant floor, learning alongside machine operators and supervisors. Napoleon recalls how much things changed for him when PCA acquired the box plant he worked at about 15 years ago, "I didn't know anything about computers or managing people until PCA." Napoleon excelled as a Superintendent and eventually Production Manager through hands-on leadership. "At PCA, we always teach the importance of safety and let our employees know how they did that day and what they brought to the table. It's important to recognize success and hold each other accountable." When asked about the advice he'd give to someone just starting their career, Napoleon says, "Be dedicated, show up and apply yourself. There will be opportunities to move up." Outside of work, Napoleon makes sure to spend time with his wife, kids and grandkids — often at parks. Otherwise, you may find him cruising in his four-wheeler, Corvette or Slingshot! It's hard to believe that our family company will be celebrating its 80th Anniversary this year (Since 1944).   The last 3 months have been a turbulent time in the Die Sets, Plate, Parallels, and Custom Fabrications market segment. We have seen a 100-year-old manufacture in this segment close their doors (Superior Die Set), and needless to say, this has caused a “ripple effect” through the 5 states we are Blessed to service (MO / IL / KS / IA / NE). But it is in these times of change, we (Lee Horneyer Company) felt it imperative to take a hard “look in the mirror” in the trust and value we are offering to our marketplace in this segment (Die Sets, Plate, Parallels, and Custom Fabrications).   Lee Horneyer Company (Since 1944) is proud to introduce a company that is “that” (On time… As Promised… At a Cost In Line With Fair Market Value), but so much more…..

A) I have always wanted to do this line of work and after 40 years, FB Chain gave me a chance to learn. I couldn't imagine doing this anywhere else! I am a part of a good team and I enjoy my work. Q) What is something you can't live without? A) Being happy. I am quite content with what I have in life, being happy is all I have wanted to achieve.
