At Stellantis, we are preparing for future challenges with our #DareForward2030 plan, featuring multi-energy technology and manufacturing flexibility. Despite being in a transitional phase, we've launched breakthrough new models including the Peugeot E-3008, E-5008, Maserati Grecale Folgore, Lancia New Ypsilon, Citroën e-C3 and our renewed #Stellantis #ProOne lineup featuring electrification and advanced tech. The second half will see new products on our roads like the Alfa Romeo Junior, Citroën C3 Aircross, Opel Frontera and Grandland, Fiat Grande Panda, just to name a few, and two models from Leapmotor through our Joint Venture. Despite challenges, we remain focused on our objectives, as shown today in our half-year results presentation for 2024. Enlarged Europe has normalized its inventory in H1 to be in a stronger position to benefit from the new product wave. Stabilization of our position in Europe is a strong achievement which deserves to be highlighted! EU30 market share is down 0.8 pt to 18.2% versus H1 2023 but up 0.6 pt vs H2 23, with sales growing 1% y-o-y, showing a steady progression. All brands were stable, but Citroën up 0.1 ppt at 3.8% thanks to C3 and C3 Aircross doing well ahead of their respective successors’ launches. We are maintaining #3 position in #BEV sales with 13.2% market share and reducing the gap vs our best competitors. We are the leader in #CommercialVehicles all energy with 28.5% market share and in the #BEV CVs with 31.7%. We’re gaining success of our innovative electrified dual-clutch transmissions (#eDCT) with sales up 53% y-o-y and 30 #hybrid models available in Europe this year to give further access to an affordable hybridization technology, with already promising order book. Good first take! Stellantis Pro One gets off in 2024 on the right foot. The market share in Italy stands at 42.5% in January with over 7,500 registrations. Fiat Professional is the brand that contributed the most with a share of 25.5%, thanks mainly to Ducato which confirms to be the best-selling commercial vehicle and allows Stellantis to reach a total of 42% in the Large Van segment, in which the our Group concentrates - together with Citroen Jumper, Opel Movano and Peugeot Boxer – the production in Italy. Peugeot's performance was also excellent, standing out as the fastest growing brand compared to last year, reaching 5.7% of market share (+1.2 percentage points compared to January 2023). Renault posted a better-than-expected operating profit for the first half of the year as reported, due to strong pricing and new vehicle launches, and stuck to its full-year profit-margin forecast. The French automaker reported that its first-half sales volume rose +1.9% versus the same period in 2023 due to the strong performance of hybrid models in Europe, its key region. “These record results are the fruit of a considerable work made by the Renault Group teams over the last years. Our efforts to reduce costs and focus our commercial policy on value are reflected in a new line-up, the best one that this company has had in 3 decades. We have implemented the traditional levers of performance improvement, but we have also reconnected the company with the innovative mindset that once made its golden years”, said Luca de Meo, CEO of Renault Group. I am so proud of my team that successfully contributed to the growth story of BMW Motorrad by delivering over 3.2 bill. Euros. Kudos to you guys! "Motorcycles Segment steps up deliveries again in centenary year In its anniversary year, the segment also achieved a new all-time high, with a total of 209,066 motorcycles and scooters delivered to customers (2022: 202,895 units). This represents a slight increase of 3.0% and confirms expectations for the financial year. In the 12-month period, BMW Motorrad revenues rose slightly to € 3,214 million (2022: € 3,176 million / +1.2%; adjusted for currency translation effects: +3.2%).
