One of the things I love about HubSpot, is its localisation when it comes to content! The 'State of Digital Marketing in Asia' is a perfect example - Fresh in the inbox yesterday! A couple of data points that stood out to me in this report! 1. 71% of SMBs in across Singapore, Hong Kong, the Philippines and India intend to increase their digital marketing spend in 2024 to drive continued growth. 2. 91% of all businesses leveraging digital marketing to advertise their products or services. Despite this push to increase spending in the digital space, data point 3 probably surprised me the most because it relates so much to what Supermetrics does. 3. Almost half (41%) of businesses are struggling with tracking revenue from their digital marketing activities. We conducted a joint HubSpot x LinkedIn study to explore how companies in Asia view and use digital marketing. Here's what we found: Only 17% of Singapore respondents strongly believe that good digital marketing boosts revenue, significantly below the regional average of 41%. 🔧 Just 41% of Singapore companies engaging in digital marketing are using CRM tools, the lowest in the region. 🌟 Over half (52%) focus on brand awareness as their main success metric. 📱 Social media is the top digital marketing channel in Singapore, with 23% of marketing budgets going towards it, and 51% using social media management platforms.
