Ever heard the term Latent Space? Latent spaces is a hidden dimension that Latent Diffusion Models (LDMs) work in. It sounds confusing (and is), but try to imagine your phone’s photo gallery. Each picture is a point in a vast, high-dimensional space (think color, texture, etc.). Latent Space simplifies this into a lower-dimensional map where similar items (like cat pics) cluster together, while different items (cats vs. dogs) are further apart. It's a compressed, essence-capturing version of the data that's easier to work with. The architectural process begins long before design commences. Once the preliminary scope and requirements of the project are defined, our pre-design process involves researching building codes and design codes for the planned structure and location. While these tasks are critical to the success of the project, they are often tedious and time intensive. We are currently exploring several AI tools that assist us with these tasks and provide answers to other questions to reduce the human time and effort this research takes—without compromising accuracy.
