I’ve been thinking as to how I wanted to wrap up and re-cap my year here. Choices were; "Most Accomplished Human Being of the Year" post “Top 8 lessons I learned this year” post “No post” “But did I really make a difference this year” post I've been a proud member of the "I'm-so-amazing-I-need-to-remind-you" club in the past, and if that's where you find yourself today, I cheer for you. Regardless of the numbers – sales, clients, revenue – if you navigated the challenges of this tough year in our industry, BRAVO. But my reflection gravitated towards the unspoken question, "Did I really make a difference this year?" Not because I lost my ambition or drive for success, but because I've come to realize the fragility, brevity, and transience of our lives (thank you Peter) In the grand tapestry of existence, what we bought, sold, built, gained, and shared may fade into oblivion. However, one question lingers – did we make a difference? Did we contribute something meaningful to the planet, our community, our industries, the companies we work for or own, our families, and our relationships? As we wrap up 365 days of opportunity, can I honestly say that I did something, just one thing, that made a difference? This is the only measure of celebration that holds weight for me. In the end, it's not about the applause or the spotlight; it's about the silent but profound impact we have on the world around us. Here's to a year where making a difference takes center stage, where our choices resonate far beyond the confines of time, and where the true measure of success lies in the positive change we bring to the lives we touch. Happy New Year! #Reflections #MakeADifference #BeyondSuccess #HappyNewYear #whatmattersmost

At Mind The Value, we take pride in the incredible talent and dedication of our team members. Today we are excited to share insights from one of our senior experts, Federico Marchesani. Federico began his journey with Mind The Value in 2013, but decided to leave the company after two years. A year and a half later, Federico decided to rejoin the company, and has now been with Mind The Value for the past 8 years, serving as a Project Manager, Key Account Manager, and Business Unit Lead. Q: What made you decide to return to Mind The Value? A: Mainly because I know the working culture here, I loved it in the past and knew for sure I would love it again. The young and dynamic and environment for me is also a friendly one. I've never heard about colleagues that hate themselves or that have internal conflicts. Q: How do you avoid burnout? A: Cooperation and collaboration. Understand that while working for Mind The Value, you are a part of a really big team, so you always have someone that is willing to help you. I'm not able to manage everything and so I always get some support and help from everyone at every level. Q: Is there any advice you want to share? A: I want to highlight the fact that this is Mind The Value that offers you a lot of opportunities for your personal growth. So it's being curious, being proactive, because this is a company that if you find your spot, you want to sit down and work and do your stuff, you can. But if you are curious and really willing to grow and gain a lot of experience, this place offers you a lot of potential opportunities. Join us in celebrating Federico’s achievements and dedication, and in looking forward to many more years of innovation and success together! #MindTheValue #MindTheValueGroup #IndustryLeaders #EmployeeSpotlight #CareerGrowth #MeetTheTeam

#happyfriday everyone! This week Insperity held our annual conference. It is a time of learning, collaborating and celebrating: personal, team, region and company achievements. Being 18 months into my role, this was my second conference and my first time receiving recognition. At Insperity, we are compensated for the number of employees we sign on and manage in our book of business. This award, recognizes in my first full year I added at least 100 employees to my book of business. Perspective is a powerful thing. I am grateful for the award. This milestone did not come close to achieving my personal goals. By contrast, the top rep in the company added just over 600 in 2023 ( she is something special as she manages somewhere over 6,000 employees in her cumulative book of business spanning a 20+ years career). Where I am, versus where I am going. Learned several key things this week. Timing is everything right? I just bought a book called "The Obstacle Is The Way" by Ryan Holiday. I listened to it three times in the last week. In short, the biggest problems we face in life do NOT define us, instead they are an opportunity to leverage greatness. Our leadership focused on the value of "one more." They told us that, if each Business Performance Advisor can manage just one more discovery call with a potential client each month in 2024, we will achieve our company goals for 2024 with flying colors. Just one more. Simple right? Simple & powerful. I will finish this post by publicly thanking all the people that helped me achieve this goal. I look forward to doubling this number through the power of "Just One More" in 2024. #thankyou Georgia Beglin Ted Szczepaniak Rory Cooper, Clay Davis Margaret Constable JoAnn Reilly plus all the people behind the scene at Insperity that make the wheel turn including: the training & development team, the deal team, pricing & review, the onboarding team, the payroll roll team, the HR team, and probably a dozen other departments that I was completely unaware helped me push deals across and helped me turn total strangers into life long customers.

Today marks a decade in my professional journey. In this journey, I've learned that #Consistency is the game-changer. It's the daily commitment that builds trust and credibility, whether meeting deadlines or supporting the team. As the saying goes, practice makes perfect, but it's consistent practice that unveils the secret to mastery. Admittedly, the path isn't always smooth. It demands discipline and determination to persist, especially in challenging times. Yet, navigating through those tough moments while maintaining consistency creates a momentum propelling one forward. In essence, consistency is not a luxury—it's a necessity. Throughout this journey, IAM Group of Companies has been instrumental in shaping my trajectory, vision, and mission—thanks to supportive mentors and an exceptional work culture. Six and a half years and counting! Here's to the power of consistency. Let's continue showing up, giving our best, and witnessing the transformative impact of those small, consistent efforts accumulating into something truly extraordinary. ‘A Big Thank You’ to my mentors Rajat Kapoor Rohini Kapoor Aditya Uppal and team Saurabh Sehgal Anirudha Singh Yakrita C. Passionate Retail Leader | Customer-Focused Strategist | People-First Team Mentality | Growth Mindset
Try Something New, Seek Discomfort These themes have been at the forefront in our household this summer, and it's been an incredibly enriching experience. This spring, I seized the opportunity to step into a new role as a Strategy Lead for Pricing and Promotion COE alongside my current responsibilities. I found immense satisfaction in this experience for several reasons: Supporting Others: It allowed me to cover a crucial area, giving a new mom peace of mind to enjoy her time away knowing her work was in capable hands. Personal Growth: Exploring an unfamiliar area that I was initially uncertain about turned out to be eye-opening. I not only embraced the challenge but discovered a new passion in leading, strategy, and teamwork. Enhanced Focus: Taking on this new challenge compelled me to sharpen my focus on my current tasks, boosting my performance and productivity. Additionally, stepping out of my comfort zone has reinforced the importance of expanding my network. Building relationships and learning from others have been instrumental in navigating new opportunities and broadening my perspective. I'm eager to continue embracing new challenges and learning experiences as I grow both personally and professionally. Thank you to all of you who made it possible. Tiffany Horan & Nick Stark for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to seek discomfort and try something new. Melanie Gatewood-Hall & Lindsay Spooner for not only your mentorship, but also your continual push to dig deeper and challenge myself. Meredith Swimmer for allowing me the opportunity to cast a bigger net. #TrySomethingNew #PersonalGrowth #EmbraceChallenges #CareerDevelopment #ExpandYourNetwork

Never in a million years did I expect to see this post … something I’ve always said regardless of those I’ve managed. “I will have your back.” We all make errors and when we do the last thing we want is to be harshly reprimanded or tore down. I have a fairly new team, I expect mistakes and to have those guiding conversations to acknowledge it but to also support a solution to grow from it. To see this lets me know I handled that situation right and have built that trust with my team. I take my job serious but it’s good to cut up, be transparent, and build relationships even if we are in different countries. Those building blocks go a long way and build a cohesive team. As leaders we get busy, escalations, and workloads… at the end of the day never be too busy to be present and provide support. #myteam #leavemanagement #hrservices #mmc #marshmclennan
“I’d have your back regardless.” As I am writing this, I’m reading and re-reading the above line (your words) from our Teams conversation earlier today, and I can’t help but feel a surge of gratitude and pride to be working with someone like you. You, the embodiment of leading by example; you, with an immense load on your plate but is reliably just one message away when we need guidance; you, with great expectations to fulfill as a senior and one of the pioneers of this team, yet is never too busy to hear us out, to exchange ideas, or to crack jokes with at the craziest of times. And best of all, you, with the rare ability to execute feedback and convey honesty gracefully balanced with kindness and compassion – a skill that I hope to ultimately achieve in this career path. I don’t usually broadcast thoughts as personal and as emotional as these – on a platform as professional and reserved as LinkedIn, but just for today I am making an exception – thank you, Megan Hutchins, for being the senior I hope every other junior like me would have. Thank you for your endless patience with me whenever I’m being too hard on myself, which tends to happen a lot as you might have already noticed 😅 I may not have expected to encounter a hiccup this early into 2024 – and on the first working day of the year at that; and I’m pretty sure this is just the first of many (because a day in the life of working in Marsh McLennan #leavemanagement is always full of surprises) but I’m banking on the fact that I would always be able to power through the difficult times with you (and the whole Leave Management Team!) giving your full encouragement and support. Because of your leadership, I know that I am exactly where I’m supposed to be. I’m grateful for the chance to be working with you and to learn from you every day. I know I speak for everyone else in the team when I say this - maraming salamat Megan, thank you very much! P.S. I wish I had a different photo to go along with this babble, I guess this is a sign for us to take another team selfie? 😁

🌟 Reflecting on our journey is crucial to appreciating our growth and shaping our future success. 🌟 In my experience, I've observed that employees who overlook their humble beginnings often miss out on valuable lessons. Embracing the struggles and challenges from our past not only fosters gratitude but also provides a solid foundation for future success. Consider this: Acknowledging where you started and the obstacles you overcame enriches your professional journey. It's these experiences that mold us into resilient and capable individuals. When we ignore these lessons, we may unintentionally stifle our growth and limit our potential. So, let's take a moment to appreciate the struggles we've endured. They’ve played a significant role in shaping who we are today and are instrumental in guiding us toward future achievements. Gratitude for our past isn't just about looking back—it's about leveraging those experiences to drive forward with confidence and purpose. I’m constantly thankful being a banker for 5 years with BDO Unibank Inc., 5 years with Q Home Decor, 4 years with IKEA.. without this companies, I will not be the same professional person I’am now 🙏 #CareerGrowth #ProfessionalDevelopment #Gratitude #Success #Reflection
