For valuation purposes we group hotels into two categories: 1️⃣ small independent hotels 2️⃣ larger independent and chain hotels Each category has its own valuation method. We have worked with UKHospitality, the largest representative body for hotels in the country, to understand the key factors that must be considered when calculating each hotel's rateable value.
