Cement is the backbone of our concrete jungle – holding up bridges, dams, and our homes. However, its production is a major contributor to global warming, accounting for 7-8% of CO2 emissions globally. To tackle this, companies worldwide, including ours, are actively exploring eco-friendly alternatives. One such innovation is LC3, or Limestone Calcined Clay Cement. Incorporating calcined clay into the mix significantly reduces the reliance on traditional raw materials. Another promising alternative is the use of slag – a byproduct from steel production – which otherwise ends up in landfills. Further initiatives, such as reducing clinker consumption and ongoing research in green modules, show a strong industry-wide commitment to sustainability. Cement consumption is not expected to decrease anytime soon. But what we can do is innovate, evolve and identify ways to become more sustainable. After all, there really is no planet B. #cement #sustainability #PCL #innovate #evolve
Very true dear Vedant ji. With #AdoCem® activating performance enhancer, we can reduce the clinker factor in all blended cements like PPC, PSC, PLC, as well as in LC3.
Well said Sir, also we can implement Alternate fuel in cement plants. It's very economical and environment friendly, also beneficial for the long term.
Well said
True
