📕 Are you new to the SDR/BDR role or simply searching for some fresh reads this summer? Well, you're in luck! We've conducted interviews with SDR and Sales Leaders, asking them: "What's the most impactful book you believe an SDR should read in their first 12 months, and why?" Each week, we'll share their recommendations. If you're an SDR in your first 12 months, this is your chance to start curating your summer reading list. If you're currently leading an SDR team or have done so in the past, we'd greatly appreciate your input. Head over to the comments section and fill out the form! #summerreading #careerdevelopment

I spend a tonne of time speaking with sales reps and so many of them tell me the same thing That they can’t wait to be promoted. I recently spoke at Sales Confidence and shared my tips for when you’re thinking about making the next step in your career. I shared the importance of 🏃🏽♀️Mastering the SDR role before you begin to think about a promotion 🗑️Making yourself indispensable 🎓Acting like the job you want, not the job you have 🗣️Finding a coach or a mentor that’s external to your company 💻Having a collaborative conversation with your manager to identify timelines and role availability. I’ll pop the link to the rest of my talk here 👇🏽 https://lnkd.in/edi2c6_q

It takes 12-18 months for an SDR to leave your business Here’s what you can do to increase them staying: ✅ 1:1s personal and business ➡ Increase relationship and align to goals ✅ Concrete timelines for progression ➡ Clarity and direction ✅ Ongoing Training ➡ Challenged and development We’ve all lost people in our teams to competitors. It's never nice! Take a look in your business as to who has been there for over 12 months Are you doing everything for them to: ✅ Have a voice ✅ Achieve goals ✅ Have clarity on career progression ✅ Feel challenged and not complacent ✅ Make them apart of the business We can get so caught up in what we're doing that we think everything is going good Then boom. Out of nowhere! Hope this is a gentle reminder to look if you're doing everything you can. ---------------------------------------------- ❓ What are you doing to retain SDR's? 👇🏻 Let me know in the comments!

TEXT ME: 214.436.6968 Sales Leader | Driving Revenue Growth | Building High-Performing Teams | Strategic Planning & Execution | Customer-Centric Approach | Passionate About Coaching & Mentoring
One of the cool thngs I’ve picked over the past year is I’ve learned the value of using overseas talent to do some Business Development. Over the past 6 months I have consulted with a few companies around building and establishing a BDR Team from overseas to generate leads. Have you even considered that? If so, I've found the ability for a company to reduce the cost of employee by 5x or more without effecting results. If you'd consider this I can help... Lets talk!

Dear Sales Development Rockstars, the journey of an SDR is full of twists and turns, but each challenge is an opportunity for growth. To navigate the ups and downs, we must handle rejection, overcome challenges, stay motivated, build resilience, celebrate wins, find balance, and embrace the power of persistence. Rejection teaches us valuable lessons, challenges are opportunities in disguise, and resilience is our strength. When we succeed, we must celebrate, and remember that even small victories deserve recognition. Balancing work and life keeps us energized and focused, and persistence pays off in the end. Let's embrace the journey and reach new heights together! #SDRLife #SalesDevelopment 🚀💼🌟

Real Talk. Being an SDR isn't just about making calls and sending emails; it's about the human connection – the ups, the downs, and everything in between. 🤝 I've faced my fair share of rejections, unanswered emails, and missed opportunities. It's been tough, but it's taught me something invaluable – perseverance. 💼 Instead of letting the setbacks get me down, I've chosen to lean into them. I've taken the time to reflect, refine my approach, and learn from every interaction. And you know what? It's made me better at what I do. It's about building relationships based on trust and mutual respect. And that's where the real magic happens. Together, let's turn our challenges into opportunities and our connections into conversions! 💪📞 Happy hunting! P.S. How have you overcome obstacles? #sdrlife #resilience #keepmovingforward

When I was an SDR, I was told to… 1. Help teammates 2. Send cold emails 3. Go to happy hours 4. Be on time every day 5. Lead every KPI board 6. Set the most meetings 7. Network with colleagues 8. Do development sessions 9. Become an activity monster 10. Drink water out of the fire hose While the intention is good… having 10 priorities means you actually have none. And if you can’t cut through the noise, you will have a hard time getting promoted. I put together a 12-minute training in our community to help you get promoted quickly (link in comments) →
