It’s no secret that the digital therapeutics market went a bit pear-shaped in 2023 - forcing key players to rethink what a successful DTx business model looks like. Take Freespira, for example. The developers of a software- and device-based treatment for panic and post-traumatic stress disorders are gradually working towards profitability, a few thousand users at a time - and it looks like the strategy is paying off. For #Investors and #Media CENTOGENE and Evotec are excited to announce the discovery of a promising new molecule to treat Gaucher disease. The molecule has the potential to treat patients with type 2 and type 3 Gaucher disease, otherwise known as neuronopathic Gaucher disease. The discovery has been the result of the collaborative work under the existing drug discovery partnership which has been in place since 2020. The Companies have now extended this collaboration until March 31, 2025, with CENTOGENE receiving a license fee granting Evotec an R&D License for the continued development activities.
