Veritas Mundi Education’s Post

Evaluating recruitment agents is essential to maintaining high standards and ensuring successful student enrolments. However, our latest survey reveals a strong focus on quantity over quality when it comes to performance metrics used by universities. 🔶 94% of universities assess agent performance based on the number of students recruited, emphasizing volume as a key indicator of success. 🔶 76% also consider the quality of students, recognizing the importance of well-matched candidates. 🔶 70% of institutions place value on ethical compliance, reinforcing the need for integrity in recruitment practices. 🔶 53% monitor student retention rates, acknowledging the importance of long-term student success. Interestingly, student-centric metrics receive significantly less attention: Despite their crucial role in shaping institutional reputation and student experience, only 23% of universities measure student satisfaction, and an equal 23% consider student feedback in their agent evaluations. This data highlights an opportunity for institutions to take a more balanced and student-focused approach in agent performance reviews, combining both quantitative and qualitative insights to drive meaningful improvements. This is just one of many insights from our upcoming report, Unity in Education: A Survey Report on University-Agent Partnerships in the UK.
