Great to see one of our ⅓-scale subscale Chaparrals transitioning and cruising at Byron Airport! These subscale vehicles are smaller, dynamically scaled representations of the Chaparral C1. We use them to test aircraft handling qualities as we make controls, avionics, and flight software updates before running these changes on the full-scale C1 aircraft.
