My colleagues have produced this helpful article on the JCT DB 2024
The Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT) unveiled a revamped suite of contracts on 17 April 2024, with the Design and Build family being the first to launch. The JCT 2024 amendments are focused on modernising the JCT to align with current standards and industry practices that have changed over the last 8 years. Instead of a complete overhaul, the changes are necessary refinements to ensure it stays relevant and effective in today’s landscape. Our Construction & Engineering team review and provide a breakdown of some of the significant changes in the JCT 2024 below. Jules Harbage, Sam Parkinson, Inam Hasan, Victoria Bramham. #ConstructionLaw #JCT #JCT2024 #WalkerMorris #ForgeYourOwnPath
