Last week, Skillnet Ireland attended #EUSocialForum, with a central theme on 'Skills for a Competitive Europe'. The launch of the Union of Skills by Commission Vice President, Roxana Minzatu, was a key highlight of the event. Key initiatives include expanding micro-credentials as flexible learning solutions, reinforcing the Pact for Skills to support strategic sectors through skills, and developing European degrees and a new VET diploma. The event provided a valuable platform for collaboration, learning and innovation in the construction sector.
