Also pay close attention to the qualifying eligibility questions in the application itself in terms of age, VISA status and Veteran status. Here's a quick tip for Top Secret cleared Intel analysts trying to figure out what to write in their summary section of their resumes👇 Keep it simple and try saying something along the lines of: "Top Secret/SCI cleared intelligence analyst with 10 years' experience conducting all-source (or HUMINT, or whatever INT you specialized in) within the department of defense. Proficient in in using intelligence tools databases such as Analyst Notebook, PALANITR, etc)." No need for commonly used fluffy words by transitioning service members like "detail oriented proven servant leader" 🤮 Tailor your resume to the job description and give the recruiter/hiring manager the B.L.U.F. Hello folks! NYS Office of Information Technology Services’s Chief Information Security Office has posted nearly 50 positions on statejobs.ny.gov - positions range from entry level (ITS 2/ Grade 18) to experienced (Manager of Information Technology Services 1 (info sec)/Grade 27). These are union positions, specifically NYS Public Employees Federation and as such the salaries are based on the contract between NYS and PEF. That’s non-negotiable and new employees will start at the bottom of the range for their grade. Despite that fact - we have other great union benefits if you’re a member (including tuition reimbursement, workshop reimbursement, licensing/certification reimbursement and more) and the amount of support you will receive if you become a team member with us is nothing short of wonderful.
