Did you know? ABA is more than just a therapy for autism. It's a highly individualized approach that enhances communication, social skills, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. 📈 💡 ABA therapy is also effective for a variety of developmental delays, learning disorders, and even traumatic brain injuries! A formal autism diagnosis isn't required to see benefits. However, BlueSprig requires a formal diagnosis to ensure we provide the most accurate and tailored care possible. Partner with healthcare professionals to guide your child through the diagnostic process. 🌟 Let's help our children reach their full potential through the power of ABA therapy! In my experience as a practice owner and clinician, I often see that there is a big difference when an adult or teen with autism is able to find a neurodivergent-affirming therapist. A neurodivergent-affirming therapist is someone who acknowledges and celebrates the diversity of neurological characteristics and conditions. They understand that being neurodivergent is not a disorder or something to be “fixed,” but rather a natural part of human variation. It can be difficult to find the right therapist for autistic young adults and teens. We have some insights in our recent blog on how to find a neurodivergent-affirming therapist. https://lnkd.in/eRx3p2TJ

CEO., Principal A.R.T. Therapist (Anxiety Reframe Technique), Author - Challenging outdated concepts of fixed brain pathology. Winner of NDS 'Excellence in Innovation' 2018.
From Stephen Porges latest paper: "PVT emphasizes an important perspective missed by correlational research - how the ANS is part of an integrated response and not a covariate. This might reframe the current use of co-morbidities within mental and physical health diagnostic systems from correlative relationships to being an attribute of a disrupted system that could be expressed in several outputs including features of both mental and physical health." This perspective has been demonstrated in our whitepaper on #autistic #inertia BRIDGING THE GAP: Exploring the Impact of Holly Bridges’ A.R.T. on Autistic Inertia and ADHD Paralysis.
