January is Mental Wellness Month 💙 ✨ As Blue Monday approaches us and the cold, dark nights of January set in it is important to take a moment to reflect on our wellbeing 🙌 . It is important to prioritize our mental health and fight against stigma regarding the topic 🧠. During Mental Wellness Month you can do simple things to help support those around you: 1. Take a moment to check in with your loved ones; family, friends, work colleagues. 2. Educate yourself and others about mental health to known how to support those struggling. 3. Encourage those struggling to seek out support and help that is available to them. 4. Focus on your own self care and be mindful of your own wellbeing. Let's build a workplace and a world where mental health is a priority, and everyone feels seen, heard, and supported 😊 #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #BreakTheStigma #MentalHealthMatters #EndTheSilence 💙

🌟 Embracing Mental Health Awareness Month 🌟 Hi everyone,In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month this May, I wanted to share a personal moment of joy and reflection with this picture of me smiling. 😊Mental health is an essential aspect of our overall well-being, yet it often doesn't receive the attention it deserves. It's crucial for us to foster environments, both at work and in our personal lives, where mental health is prioritized and openly discussed. To all companies and individuals, here are some ways we can support mental health: Create a Supportive Work Culture Encourage open discussions about mental health and ensure everyone feels safe to share their struggles. Provide Resources and Programs Offer access to mental health resources, counseling, and wellness programs to help manage stress and improve well-being. Promote Work-Life Balance Encourage regular breaks and a healthy work-life balance to prevent burnout and promote long-term productivity. Check-In Regularly Make it a habit to check in with colleagues and loved ones. Sometimes, a simple conversation can make a big difference. Let's use this month as a reminder to check in with ourselves and those around us. Whether it's through a smile, a supportive conversation, or just being there for someone, every small action counts.Remember, it's okay to not be okay, and seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #MentalHealthMatters #SupportEachOther #WellBeingAtWork #BreakTheStigma

🌟 Reflecting on Mental Health Week 🌟 Last week, we observed Mental Health Week—a vital reminder of the importance of mental well-being in our personal and professional lives. Mental health is not just the absence of illness, but a positive state of thriving and resilience. Here are some key takeaways and reflections: 🧠 Awareness: Break the stigma around mental health and create a supportive environment. 🤝 Support Systems: Build empathetic networks with friends, family, and colleagues. 🏢 Workplace Wellness: Employers should promote mental health resources and work-life balance. 🌱 Self-Care: Prioritise mental health with exercise, mindfulness, and hobbies. 💬 Continued Dialogue: Keep advocating for mental health awareness beyond Mental Health Week. Let's commit to making mental health a priority all year round. Remember, it's okay to not be okay. Reach out, support others, and take care of yourself. Together, we can make a difference. #MentalHealthWeek #MentalHealthAwareness #WellBeing #SelfCare #SupportEachOther #BreakTheStigma

🌟 Taking a Mental Wellbeing Day: A Personal Reflection 🌟 In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, it's easy to overlook the importance of mental wellbeing. As a firm believer in the power of balance and self-care, I recently took a step back to prioritise my son's emotional health. In a world that moves at an unprecedented pace, our loved ones, especially the younger ones, can find it challenging to navigate the complexities of their emotions. Recognising this, I decided to dedicate a day to my son, focusing on his mental wellbeing. Working for myself and from home grants me the flexibility to weave such moments into my routine. Last week, my son and I had lunch, explored a few stores, and most importantly, we talked. We talked about life, struggles, and aspirations. Being able to offer this support during the week is a privilege, and I'm grateful for the flexibility that comes with being my own boss. Let's remember that mental wellbeing is a universal need, and finding ways to prioritise it, even in small ways, is crucial. Whether it's taking a day off or incorporating small breaks into your routine, let's collectively foster environments that acknowledge and support mental health. #MentalWellbeing #WorkLifeBalance #SelfCare #FlexibilityMatters

At Spaulding Ridge, we believe that supporting the well-being of our employees is a key pillar to living by the company's belief that all business is personal. We are proud to support Mental Health Awareness Month this May and recognize that prioritizing mental health is not just a trend but a fundamental aspect of a successful and compassionate workplace. Throughout May, our Mental Wellness Alliance (MWA) ERG will be hosting a variety of events designed to promote mindfulness, increase awareness, and break down the stigma surrounding mental health. These initiatives aim to foster open conversations, educate our employees, and encourage them to prioritize their mental well-being. Recently, the MWA ERG partnered with Third Horizon Strategies to host a session called Managing Fear: From Uncertainty to Resiliency. This interactive session focused on normalizing the struggles we all face and developing tools to help regulate our response during times of uncertainty and anxiety. We encourage everyone to prioritize mental health care in their own companies and communities. #SpauldingRidge #MentalHealthAwareness

Taking care of your mental wellbeing at work can look like many things. 🙌 It isn't just what you do outside of your workday that's important, but what you do during it, too. While much of your working environment is determined by others, there are still things you can do to help protect and enhance your own mental wellbeing. Working in a mentally healthy way can help you overcome challenges easier, build healthy relationships and work more productively. If poor mental wellbeing or stress impacts your daily life, speak to your GP or contact Lifeline or Beyond Blue for 24/7 support. 📱 #MentalWellbeing #MentalHealth #QldHealth ℹ️ Sources: Heads Up.
