The Fire Department Coffee Rosenbauer America Disaster Response Fire Truck has been providing services to communities impacted by Hurricane Helene since last Wednesday, and here are some things we’ve learned. 1) Words can not describe the devastation. 2) SAR teams are still searching for missing people. 3) Hot coffee and being there has helped morale and provided a little comfort through all the havoc. 4) The washer and dryer on the truck provided by Milliken Textiles have been put to very good use. 5) There is a long road ahead and we don’t know at the moment how long the truck will be deployed. HiViz LED Lighting / FireTech Lights and Sam Massa have stepped up big time to work together on this mission. Shawn Whalen from our team has been working around the clock providing resources, and we are so proud of him. Randy James will be relieving him soon. We have already shipped a replenishment of supplies. Thank you to all of our partners who make this possible. IDEX Corporation and Brent W. have even been on-site to support our efforts. Thank you to all of our customers. We would not be here without you.

Around this time last year, Fire Department Coffee was awarded the prestigious Walmart Golden Ticket at #WalmartOpenCall which followed a national rollout in Walmart stores. This year, FDC will be there to share our Walmart journey with other suppliers. Walmart puts a lot of planning and resources into this initiative to invest $350 billion in products made, grown, or assembled in America, supporting the creation of over 750,000 U.S. jobs. Congratulations to everyone who received an invitation! That alone is a huge opportunity. I encourage everyone to make the most of it and learn as much as possible. For everyone who will be in person in Bentonville, please stop by the FDC fire truck and grab a cup of Fire Department Coffee. We are excited for you and look forward to seeing you there!
