What does a ❤️ Parrot fish ❤️ have in common with #solar panels? 💰 Silica 💰 Parrot fish feed on coral reefs. They digest the corals and 💩 poop 💩 the sand. The sand washes on shore through tides and waves, creating white 🏖 beaches. 🏖 Yes, you are walking on parrot fish poop when you walk on a white sandy beach. Beaches are mined for their high-quality sand. We need sand as it contains Silica Silica is a key component of Solar Panels. So before you think of #solarenergy think of the parrot fish 🌍 No #coralreefs, no parrot fish 🌎 No parrot fish, no white beaches 🌏 No white beaches, no silica 🌍 No silica, no solar panels. There is nothing more important than restoring our biodiversity and become #naturepositive Just so you know. Have a nice weekend. #biodiversity #regeneration #renewableenergy #resources #planetarybounderies. #ocean

"Nature speaks in whispers of the wind and songs of the forest; it’s up to us to listen and act before the music fades." On World Environment Day, let’s paint the planet with hues of hope and green dreams. Imagine a world where rivers dance freely, forests whisper ancient secrets, and skies stay endlessly blue. Today, we become the guardians of nature’s symphony, harmonizing our actions with the earth’s rhythm. Every step we take, no matter how small, can create ripples of positive change. As we celebrate this day, let's remember that our connection to nature is both a responsibility and a privilege. We have the power to craft a sustainable future where biodiversity flourishes and natural resources are preserved for generations to come. Let’s pledge to nurture nature, for she is the masterpiece we all share and the legacy we leave behind. Best Wishes, Team EPAC #environment #environmentday #savesoil #green #nature #ocean #natgeo

On World Mangrove Day we celebrate these amazing trees which occupy that space between land and sea, a super productive area that is home to a great diversity of creatures. 🌳🌊 Mangroves are a crucial nursery for reef species, giving them safe harbor before they head out into the big ocean. Mangrove roots also protect the land from erosion by waves and the trees take out massive amounts of carbon dioxide from the air. Sadly mangrove forests are disappearing; current estimates place them at less than 1% of all tropical forests. Even worse, when they are destroyed, mangroves emit carbon dioxide. By contrast, one hectare of healthy mangroves can sequester as much CO2 as removing nearly 3,000 cars from roads for a year. Let’s all become advocates for the remaining mangrove forests, we and our ecosystems depend on them for so much! 💚 #ClimateAction #SaveMangroves #EcosystemProtection #Biodiversity #Conservation #Sustainability #Nature

The entire ecosystem that rivals rainforests, lies beneath the ocean’s surface in variety and density. The coral reef is the major element of this hidden world. People often refer to it as the “rainforests of the sea.”Read more on #eureka369 #sustainableenvironment #pollutioncontrol #ecosystem #coralreef #marinelifeconservation https://lnkd.in/dHi-nzGp

Planting trillions of young sapling-trees globally, could be one of the greatest solutions to combat global warming, how?.......The new *mycorrhiza attached to the roots of trees, would become a carbon capture, for all our *carbon dioxide and *greenhouse gases, that would then begin to stabilise our Earth’s atmospheric ozone, to help reverse all *global warming and climate change issues? And all of these new trees, would remain native tree species to our countries environments, (not invasive new tree species). And once planted, all young trees would became protected trees, not cut down, so that the mycorrhizae attached to the new roots of trees, would continue to capture large amounts of toxic greenhouse gases. But wait for it, because all of these trillions of new trees, would also provide us with oxygen, through photosynthesis, that converts carbon dioxide into oxygen, the pure air that we all breath each day! Not only that, trillions of new trees that dropped their leaves and old wood, would decompose over hundreds of years, and breakdown into humus, and into all of our new, fertile agricultural soils, the very soil that would grow all of our new, healthy organic grown, edible crops and foods, because this decomposing humus, would retain, all of the good bacterias, good mycorrhizae, good fungi’s, good nematodes, and all of the good micro-organisms, and all good ingredients, vitally important to build all of our World’s new fertile agricultural soils. But there's more, because the canopies of trillions of new trees, on our lands, in our forests and rainforests, would then provide shade, and the shade would convert to moisture courses on our forests floors, and after many years, these moisture courses would develop into all new streams and rivers to flow.....and provide water and shade, and a whole host of natural environments for millions of different species of plants, birds, reptiles, and all wild creatures and wild animals to live and thrive once more. Trees are a win-win solution...

Healthy forest ecosystems produce and conserve soil and stabilize stream flows and water runoff—preventing land degradation and desertification, and reducing the risks of natural disasters such as droughts, floods, and landslides. https://lnkd.in/eSgB8UCb
